A wereturtle bit one of my dwarven children, who later turned and demolished much of my population.

25/10 would gnaw off my ankles for an opportunity to spend eternity playing this.

A fun little roguelike with cards.
Wears its Diablo influence on its sleeve.

A great title in the vein of Stardew Valley and other games, but you're playing a Graveyard Keeper and church prior.
The game contains a sardonic wit, and is rife with such dry humor. The dialog is fun and witty, and quite self-aware.
The mechanics mirror other games of its type, in that you must gather various resources to construct necessary buildings to produce other resources of value to eventually escape this strange limbo you've found yourself in and return to the real world.

I can understand reluctance at buying this game at its full price, but personally I do think it's worth it. (I honestly can't remember when or at how much I paid for this). I poked at it a long time ago and was quite interested in its premise, and only recently came back and properly visited it. I've been really enjoying it and have little complaint.

The game is what's on the box rogue-like but you're adventurers in the exploration era. You balance several resources: Funds, Fame, Standing, and the Loyalty of your followers. In order to gain game and funds, you need to procure relics and items on your adventures, but disturbing shrines (which hold the easiest way to accrue either) drastically lowers your Standing with natives, causing them to even eventually attack you.

Personally, and I can't tell if it's intentional, I love the kind of mockery this game seems to carry of how the western world has treated the rest of the world and societies that hadn't developed the scientific progression it had. Wantonly stumbling through others' lands, destroying the landscape for convenience and appropriating sacred and important artifacts for personal gain.

A gorgeous and fun roguelike, with a good amount of difficulty. Would eagerly recommend.
