I had my eye on this for years and after watching some videos online of some people playing the game and thinking it looked fun I decided to get it. I was aware that there would be a grind, but that's fine. I thought. Turns out, it was not fine. I love survival games. Grinding is fine, the problem with this game, personally, is that you can grind but one mistake can instantly make all that grinding meaningless because if you die, that character is just dead and a zombie. You can reclaim the inventory on a new character in the same save, but all that time you spent leveling up stats is gone. I'm not a fan. The game is very slow paced, so it requires a lot of time to be put into it, to learn everything, and to mess with all the systems in the game. I would've liked to see those but I can't find myself having fun in the early game enough to care to get there.

I liked the visuals of the game, and even how in-depth some of the stuff I saw was, but man is it a slog and a chore to even get to where this game might be fun. It's just not for me. I'll stick to more conventional survival games.
