I played through a few scenarios in this game and while I do think there is some fun to be had, there are a lot of issues holding this game back that I don't think are going to be addressed at any point by the developers. As far as I can tell the community for this game is all but dead and the developer behind it has moved on to a new game.

I found a lot of the mechanics in the game to be unexplained and there doesn't appear to be any useful guides or documentation anywhere. This may not bother some, but for management games with a lot of crunchy numbers, having a guide to sort through the hidden math can be essential.

Managing your teams are needlessly difficult, teams split between office suffer a penalty but there is no overview to easily identify which team members need to be moved and while you can switch teams you can't easily switch desks to a new office which usually is the solution you would want.

While there's fun to be had and I was hesitant to give it a negative review, the issues I've found so far are too frustrating to put up with in this genre and I can't in good conscience recommend this when I know there are much stronger games out there with an identical premise.

Got this with a recent 2K Humble Bundle, it's the first time I've ever had to uninstall DLC that came with a bundle.

Even if you uncheck the missions from this DLC, if it is installed you are subject to random boss fights that have always resulted in mission failure for me, best case scenario I have escape with one gravely wounded solider out of five.

The mechanics are totally different then the regular missions and do not really mesh well, bosses move after every action, not after every turn and they have a much higher health pool than any threat you face.

The fact that they can spawn even in early missions before you have a really strong squad just ruins all progression and has made me quit a run entirely I put a few solid hours into because I had ffour boss encounters in that time.

I'd only recommend this to seasoned veterans who get it at a heavy discount and know what they are getting into before the mission. I'd say for the average player this makes the game worse in every way.

Take to the skies! Hop on an airship and into the exciting competitive world of Guns Of Icarus. Will you be a daring pilot, steering your team to victory? Or a gunner, fighting for sky-superiority? Or the humble engineer, making sure your ship is running, well ship shape! Beautifully done, and simple to learn, this game will keep you entertained for hours on end!

Probably the weirdest game you could pick up, from the mind who brought you Super Meat Boy and The Basement Collection. Flash genius Edmund McMillen has done it again. This gory action packed dungeon crawler is full of biblical references, as well as replay value. A great buy, definately something to keep on eye out for when it comes on sale. It's money well spent. Oh, and did I mention Steam Cards?

It's all about the platinum baby! That's what Benjamin Franklin would say if he played Warframe. This fast pasted co-operative shooter is loads of fun, but very addictive. Play as any of over a dozen supersoliders ("warframes") and defend our solar system from threats. This mission based game is free-to-play, but will require a bit of cash to access all the features.

For those who remember the good old days of flash games, many of these favourites first appeared on Newgrounds.com. Ah yes, one of the golden ages of gaming. If you have a taste for nostalgia, or simply love indie games, this is the pack for you. It's got a lot to keep you occupied and well worth your investment. An easy 10 out of 10.

Proof that not all indie games are gems. Floaty controls and super glitchy. Far too much trial and error. Boss battles are the worst as there's no way to tell if you technique is effective or not. This game could've been something but fell far too short. Sometimes you love it, but mostly you want to bash your skull in with a sledgehammer. I'd recommend it if you have more time on your hands than most mortals ever should. 4/10, 5/10 if you dig hats.

You'll need quick reflexes to master this challenging platformer. One of the best and most challenging platformers I've ever, or will ever play. Cool art, nice graphics and catchy tunes. 10/10
