I've only ever really played Elite Dangerous in VR, and I have to say, it's been the most immersive experience I've had. If you have a VR headset, ED is highly recommended. The learning curve is steep, and the tutorial isn't very good, but if you can make it through that, you're in for an amazingly immersive experience.

The biggest drawback to playing Elite in VR is how hard it can be to read the text sometimes, but newer headsets like the Samsung Odyssey Plus and the Valve Index help make that much easier on the eyes.

This just made me happy. With the 3rd song, they really made it feel like you're part of an anime music video. Even if all you do is sit around for the whole thing, the characters interact with you to a surprising degree. Helped in part by the fact that your character has an actual body, and the girls make you hold things, show you pictures on their phones, and more.

While none of these songs are games, just experiences, if you go into knowing what you are getting, I would say it's definitely worth it.

Do you have the hardware to play this? If so, what are you waiting for?

While a free experience, the level of quality and immersion is excellent. There's no specific direction for you in the game, you are simply free to play around and explore with everything you can see around you. There are a number of secrets to be found or puzzled out, and a number of the spells can really bring about a sense of wonder. (For me, it was the Conductor spell! So much fun when I realized I could fling things around.)

At this price, you have nothing to lose, and it's a wonderful experience.

A cute, addictive game. There's a lot of charm and personality to the characters you meet, and it's just a lot of fun! The voice work isn't dubbed, but that's a plus in my book!

Highly recommended for fans of anime style RPGs looking for a game with a different twist on the whole adventuring thing.
