Overmorrow is a super cute and relaxing puzzle game. It's almost rouge-like as you use your resources to explore the world. Highly recommend giving it a go.

A very addictive and fun colony sim. You spend most of your time trying to make your unique and weird colonists happy with their lives. How you do that is up to you, create an army of animals to defend your base, capture prisoners of war and sell them as slaves to your allies, make loads of cash selling beer. There's a lot of ways to play this game and I well and truly recommend it.

This game is really great to play with friends and the introduction to 4 starts adds a high skill ceiling.

This game is both relaxing and emotional, great for a quiet evening in. Many of the characters are charming and the general tone of the game is quite light (but this really highlights the darker parts). The game mostly plays by going around talking to people and collecting things, it mostly relies on the story and characters to engage players, but if you don't mind that then it does a good job. I really enjoyed this game and I would recommend it.

It's similar to To The Moon and A Bird Story.

A short and linear but very artistic story game, with some very creative and humerous effects. Only about an hour long but very well crafted.

A quirky yet enjoyable game, both emotional and humorous with a story like a visual novel but much more interactive.

Undertale is a great game. It's funny, light hearted and emotional with amazing use of music and gameplay. The game is quite short but well worth the money, after recieving it as a gift I bought it for all my friends. This is now one of my favourite games of all time.

Life is Strange is a unique, emotional and bloody brilliant choices game with a heavy detective element.

Concept:
You play as a photography student who gains the abiltiy to rewind time.

This concept is brilliant. A choices game where you can just rewind and see the reactions of each choice. The concept also leads to many other awesome emergent properties that simiply make this game a one-of-a-kind. Such properties include: rewinding before something happens to warn people, the ability to talk to someone get information and then rewind and use the information to find out more, breaking locks readings information and then rewinding so the lock was never brocken.

Do the choices matter? Most of them don't but that isn't a bad thing because most of the time you're just choosing what to ask people. However there are choices that really matter and they tend to make it obvious, a buttefly symbol appears in the corner of the screen whenever a choice you make has consequences however you can of course change your mind at this point in most cases.

The style of Lift Is Strange is very well done, the look is very "Square Enix realism" but things are themed in terms of photography and scraps of paper and paintings. All the easter eggs envolve taking photos, a summary of the story so far, a collection of all the information found, and bios of everyone you've met is kept in a scrap-book/diary, posters look handpaineted and it's a very pretty world to be emersed in.

Although this is a chocies game it really is more of a story, admitedly a story that you can effect but theses effects don't cause huge deviations, instead of many winding paths it's more of a single path but you get to play in the story choosing is only one half you also have to find out information by walking around the world and uncovering things, comparing evidence and telling the right people.

To even out the review I should mention that when I played I experienced a lot of really bad bugs and this was after the patching, on about 10 different occasions I was blocked and had to restart from the last checkpoint. However from others I have spoke to and reprots onlines I have concluded that most people do not experience these. Despite these really fustrating bugs I loved this game and I completed it.

I would recommend this game, if you're unsure just buy Episode 1.

Cities: Skylines also known as Sim City done right is a fun, addicting and overall satisfying city building game. You zone parts of your city for certain buildings to be built but you manually place roads and serviced buildings yourself. This city builder has a decent balance between the detail and the big picture. You can place individual trees and footpaths and even rename the dogs or you can build some roads and zone a hundred houses to be built.

The game isn't anything special in it's own right, but the features it offers are often done well and provide a large variety, such features include:

-lots of road systems including roaund-a-bouts to help with traffic
-districts allowing you to enforce local pollicies in different areas
-terrain modification and water damming
-easy asset editor and the ability to download new buildings, road structures and even extra tools (such as a tree brush) directly from the steam community
-the ability to renam absolutley anything
-following camera to help observe people's day to day routines
-specialist farming, forestry, oil and coal industries that work off natural resources.
-good money management allowing fine tuned taxes, loans and budget
-ability to build different densities of residential and commercial to create a high-rises vs suburbs feel.

This game is not without flawes, traffic is one of the biggest problems - I admit it is attempting a hard task, the ammount of different roads and connections leads to many types of situations - however cars will often queue in a single lane on motorways and you often have to apply tricks to force the traffic to work in a certain way. Saying that there is a large collection of mods that help these flawes like the ability to flip the direction of one way roads for example.

Cities: Skylines is a game almost identicle to Sim City and if you liked Sim City but kept thinking this anoys me then this game is for you. It has a lot more space to work with and if you do run out you can use reliable mods to get more.

I got this game at full price and It was well worth it.

Team Fortress 2 - Free to Play done right.

Team Fortress 2 is a class based first person shooter which favours cartoony animation over realism. The game consists of 9 classes with their own weapons, quirks and customisability including Double Jumping Super Fast Scouts, Disquishing Invisible Spies and Sentry gun building engineers.

In the PC version of this game free-to-play is done in two ways: Cosmetic Features (most noteably hats) and New Weapons. New Weapons are balanced with the default ones making all players (free and paying) on an even playing field, new weapons simply provide trade-off features to make play more acustomed to the player preference.
