RECOMMEND. Especially on sale.

Ender Lilies is a metriodvania type game with extremely great aesthetic and music.

Gameplay is neat. Level layout is well set.

Enemies is a bit let down since there're some pure being annoying damage sponge.

Control from the start feels a bit stiff but after you get enough items and actions it feels better.

(Don't follow guide that ask you skip actions and do difficult jump at the start, get necessary things first)

Story is simple yet well told.

RECOMMEND.

Seriously worth it.

Hopefully CAPCOM give this series one more chance and well-fit ending. The characters are so loveable.

RECOMMEND, even on full price.

I only play on storymode because i'm lazy XD.

Last Command is a GREAT Game.

Like the description said, this is combination of Snake and Bullet game.

Control is simple (also a bit tricky), gameplay is unique, music also great.

Overall aesthetic is decent.

On the top of that story is quite good. (maybe expected but still good)

RECOMMEND.

RECOMMEND. Especially on SALE.

The Legend of Tianding is a neat 2d action platformer that combines with beat-them-up.

3d model is a bit ugly on close but suits game need.

2d art is decent. It's combination of Japanese Manga and Hong Kong Comics style.

This also fits culture (Taiwan regime was changing rapidly)

Platforming is more leaning to action than puzzle. It can be hard if you want to collect all treasures but mostly part is simple.

Combat is fun, you can use you knife, special arts, or weapons from foes like police baton, blade, guns and even RPG.

Boss fights are unique and challenging. No cheap moves.

Story is simple but well presented.

In short, this game is good enough you want it goes on longer, but it ends right before sweet spot.

Something should be improve (like, too many collectibles from beggars)

But this is indeed fun game to get.

Recommend, but only on sale.

Alina of Arena is a neat small roguelike, a combination of deck builder and strategy game.

But...difficulty curve is extremely UNBALANCED. feels cheap.

Alina (you) can only move 1 space each turn, most weapon has 1-space range.

Bosses start from stage 2 has 3-5 range reach, jump around each turn ends, can knock you back, on the top of it their hp and block just sky rocketed.

For example, stage 2 boss: Ice Reaper, her action add debuff cards that eat up your deck, and also add 1 cost to all your action card.

Or stage 3, Jester Prince, he keeps jump around and AoE all the time. You cannot out-shield him, and you cannot out-damage him because has buff that reduce damage when pawns are alive. And pawns are also really hard to kill.

Anyway, even i indeed had fun, and will probably keep playing til i beat it.

But i certainly feel this game more on the frustration side. (unless dev nerf boss like, HALF)

Certainly rougelike, but not much strategy.

Your luck make this game less unfair, not your skill.

i grabbed this on sale, but wow this is worth i bought the full package after finished it.

This is the third game of OPUS series from SIGONO INC.

Gameplay is roughly they are good at: click adventure and walking simulator. This plus some roguelite random events and resource management. Still the main stuff is puzzle, world building storytelling.

Puzzles are fun and quite easy to understand. Like always.

The world building, the storytelling, damn i'm immersed.

With clearly designed 3d lowpoly model, outstanding 2D art, pitch-perfect music.

On the top of that, beautiful voice acting.

I feel i'm watching a whole 24 episode anime series in 1 day.

With great setting, lovable characters, and emotional events.

This is damn worth my time.

RECOMMEND, especially on discount

I go for true ending on 1st playthrough.

Presentation - Artwork and Music

HD-2D is really great for combining beautiful pixelart and lowpoly model.

It let players fill some gap with imagination, and space better with 3d environment.

Music is simply awesome. Fits the mood and theme.

Control & Gameplay

Final Fantasy Tactics, with some tweaks. Mostly go for easy approach.

For RPG parts, there's no job/class, just purely level up and skill tree. Simplified a lot.

The battle core is mostly the same.
- Terrain has height difference
- Units take actions based on speed
- When action ends, Units have faced direction.
- Backstab deal more damage.

I think what changes most are
1. Use TP instead of MP
2. Unit can start a follow-up attack to adjacent surrounded foe.

TP is pretty straight forward. It's basically action points. I think this is for balancing and avoid spamming.

Follow-up attack is really good design. This make melee units have a upper hand in close quarters.

Storyline

Usually JRPG go "Lv1 help cat; Lv99 kill God" route. But Triangle Strategy is not one of them.

The story is focus on Salt - basic need, and greed, betrayal, war caused by it.

Our House is one within the flow. Trying to survive first then thrive if we're allow to.

In short, a political drama.

Problems, difficulties, and events are treated quite seriously, feeling they'll happen in the real world.

Might be still Anime in some ways, but Triangle Strategy is really a good work.

Overall

Triangle Strategy is a decent Tactics game with good believable storyline

RECOMMEND.
