An interesting game to say the least, Kane and Lynch: Dead Men is unlike any game i have ever played before. The style of the game is refreshing to me. You follow the twisted life of Kane as he attempt to fix his past path of destruction and save his daughter from the mob. The narrative of the game is pretty engaging, something nice when considering the 2007 title. You feel as though you build a connection with both Kane and Lynch through the brilliant voice acting and visuals. For the time the graphics are very well done. The game doesnt feel janky but it does require time to learn the correct controls and how to instruct your team and use them effectively when in combat. The knockdown feature before death was executed very well as Kane begins having flashbacks before being saved by an adrenaline shot from one of his team. A few negatives of this game start with the weapon mechanics. No gun is accurate, except the sniper rifle and the mounted LMG you get to use in the end game. You can sometimes repeatedly die as it seems the NPC's acquire aimbot at some times throughout the game. The inclusion of smoke grenades is unnecessary as NPC's shoot right through them.
The only bug i found in the game was towards the end whilst moving through the jungle attempting to reach the enemy compound; on respawn sometimes previous enemies you have killed will spawn behind you but they are usually easy to deal with once you notice them. Overall i really love the grittiness of this game and the narrative that follows. The characters are developed well and there are a wide range of mission styles and arenas to keep the player engaged.

Dont get me wrong, it was a pretty fun game with loads of side quests, cool cinematics and relatively challenging puzzles within tombs.
Personally i just felt like the storyline was predictable and there were a few bugs i encountered such as waypoints not changing as you walk up to them (forcing you to respawn from last checkpoint, which can sometimes be painful) the climbing got progressively more janky towards the end of the game as well as the overall ending being far too long considering what actually happens.
As well as the climbing becoming more janky, the devs really cheaped out on the helicopter movement at the end of the game.

One final thing to note was the mixture of the open / fixed world map. I liked the concept but i dont feel like it was executed well. I fast travelled once during the whole game. Despite this, others may like it. - 6/10

Do you like highly intense PvP? Do you enjoy navigation and exploration? Do you enjoy grenades, molotoves, ak47's and m16's? then this is your game. Take to the battlefields of H1Z1 where you and 200 other opponents fight for survival in this 1st and 3rd person shooter. First parachute down and gather supplies then proceed to save zones and avoid the incoming gas. Eliminate other players as the safe zones become smaller and smaller. Be the last alive to be crowned "King of The Kill".
Have you got what it takes...?
