If you like Pokémon, you will most likely also like this game. It's a side scrolling jump'n'run plus monster collecting and battling. Of course there are some differences. Instead of catching weakened monsters you have a chance to find an egg after beating up some monsters. The combat system reminds more of classic Final Fantasy. There is no 4 known attacks limit. Instead each type of monster has a complex skill tree and with each level gained you can specialize them.
