A fantastic fighting game with plenty of characters and things to do. Rollback netcode, crossplay, and post launch support means the game should stay active for a long time. There is a FREE version you can try out as well!

Pros
  • Accessible and easy to pick up and play, but hard to master. You can easily play on any controller/stick/keyboard.
  • 28 Playable characters
  • Post launch support (character pass, battlepass, , costumes, new stages, more Grand Bruise stages)
  • Rollback Netcode
  • Crossplay between PC and Console
  • 20+ colors for each character along with multiple weapon skins
  • Grand Bruise (a Fall Guys style round based mini game elimination mode)
  • Online Lobby system is nice but you don't have to interact with it if you don't want to.
  • Figure studio to create dioramas and set pieces.
Neutral
  • Training mode is good and has some frame data in it, but I'm spoiled by Street Fighter 6's frame meter.
  • I wish they would tell me how many frames of invincibility a special move has.
  • The combo trials are hidden in a tab in training mode.
  • They stripped almost almost all the RPG elements from the previous games story mode. Some people didn't like it so now it's more streamlined. Cutscene -> Battle -> Cutscene -> Battle etc.
Cons
  • They took out the online coop from the story mode
  • The arcade mode ending for each character is lackluster. You are rewarded with just 2 pieces of artwork. (1 for normal ending, 1 for true ending)
  • Online lobby is locked at 30 fps. Not really sure why.
  • No regional pricing makes the game very expensive in certain areas of the world
