All right so I got all the achievements, punched through all of the story, and collected most of the suits to be able to accurately go over a few parts of the game that I few most people will want to know about.

The short answer to "would I recommend this game" is - yes, but that should be clear from the big thumbs up attached to this review.

Now for the much longer meat and potatoes of the review and let me start this off by saying this game is far from perfect, but it is rather enjoyable. If you like beat 'em up arpgs then you will really enjoy this.

So going into the biggest draw back/problem with the game first here to just get it out of the way early for everyone. Which happens to be the games lock-on system. It's rather rough, yes it does work rather well if you happen to be on a controller, but seeing how this is for the steam version most people will most likely be on mouse and keyboard and that's when it gets a little rough. Both getting the right target and cycling through them is not the greatest feeling and can lead to some frustration. Sure you'll get use to it in time, but it's something that should be smooth and easy to use from the get go as locking on to targets is kind of important.

Next I'll talk about the over all grind of the game... it's grindy. You'll need to run missions multiply times to both unlock new suits and gather resources to upgrade them. Now if you plan on just going though the story and only unlock/play like your favorite suit, you'll barely have to do any grinding. The natural progression of the games story gives you enough to keep one, maybe two, suits at the required level to clear content as it's throw at you. Now if you happen to want to switch suits up a few time before unlocking the post-game stuff, then brace yourself because you will need to grind out a whooole bunch of cash.

Now I'll go into the post-game stuff. After you clear the story for the first time you'll get your player level uncapped (from 50 to 80), unlock a hard mode for the game, and a bunch of levels get an additional mission to unlock a new suit. Yeah that's about it, while the challenge for hard mode does really crank things up a notch at time, it's also cranks up resources you get. The amount of resources they throw around on hard really lets you cut loose on upgrades for your suits. Sure the cost for the new upgrade levels for your suits may seem a little crazy when you first see them, but you'll wave it off after you start seeing your new end mission checks. Moving past the resources, new suits and the new difficulty what else is there in the post-game? Well that's about it, really has that mmo style end-game where you just grind for grinding really.

Ok we'll moving it talking about the multiplayer. It's pure co-op. You'll be able to make a lobby and jump into missions in teams up to three players. They do have a quick match feature that'll just drop you into a random open lobby for some quick action with some randos. There also isn't any mid mission joining, everyone needs to be ready in the lobby to play. That actually covers all the multiplayer features It's just all the same missions and rewards as the single player. In fact you can even just full clear the game through the multiplayer if you wanted. They do cut the after and before mission story stuff if you are clearing the story through multiplayer, if you cared about the story,

Speaking of the story let's talk about it, spoiler free even. So the story... isn't anything to write home about. It's not the worst story around, but let's just say it clearly wasn't a focus point at any of the board meetings during development. I mean it does make kind of sense if you follow it and they don't really have any gaping plots holes in it, if you wanted some positives about the story, but outside that it's nothing really special.

Oh combat, a little late in here but let's hit up the main focus of the gameplay. So overall combat is actually pretty smooth. Each suit has a light attack combo, a heavy attack that can be chained into a knock up, two abilities/sub-weapons, one ranged attack or gap closer, and a big fancy ultimate attack. The two abilities on every suit each have a limited number of uses and then a cooldown after words. The limit and cooldown are different for each and every ability. Another note is abilities will begin to recharge even if you didn't use all your charges on them, if you do use them while they are doing the recharge it'll reset the cooldown. As for actually fighting, you combo these skills and basic attack combo buttons together through dash and/or guard canceling (which is when you cut off an animation by going into a dash or a block for those unaware) to clear out grunts, attempt to juggle normal size bosses, or pummel giant mobile armors. The normal sized bosses have all have a 'balance' gauge. The balance gauge is their to stop players from forever juggling bosses, as until you deplete it the boss can't be knocked into the air or staggered. While the big mobile armors don't have a balance gauge and you kind of just need to beat on different parts of them to stun them. Yet some mobile armors have an i-field/anti-beam field. For those guys any beam style weapon/ability won't actually do damage to that boss until it's depleted, after that all beam attacks are counted as crits, until it recharges. Now you can just completely ignore this anti-beam mechanic on these boss by just hitting them with melee or a physical weapon/ability.

Moving along into unlocking achievements. Nothing crazy about any of them, it's all stuff you'll unlock naturally as you play the game. A couple of them are worded a little differently, but none of them are anything you'd have to go out of your way to unlock. Pretty simple, I got them all in a couple of days of playtime and only actually started focusing on them when I noticed how close I was to getting them all.

Alright alright, that about covers everything I can think of that i feel needs to covered. Sorry this was on the longer side and not in a great order, but hopefully this answered some questions you might have had about the game. So thanks for reading and hope it helped.

If you've played evolve in the past, unlocked anything, or do any of that other stuff which involves putting time in the game then prepare yourself because you just lost everything!!! That founder statue bs is there way of saying "Hey we took all your stuff, but we'll give you all the characters, which you already had, and a few skins so you can just grind out everything all over again!!!!"

They also removed all but two game modes, because who really wants to do anything other then standard hide-and-seek. No that was a terrible idea the other game modes were pretty good and fun, but looks like they disagreed. Also because of the remove of the other game modes they took out the multi-mission Evacuation Mode. So hope you enjoy hide-and-seek aka Hunt or Arena Mode because that's all they left you.

They also buffed monsters and changed the hunters class abilities, so take that as you will cause it's kind of meh.

Either way go ahead and give the game a whirl if you must, but let's hope that they have a Stage 3 incoming soon.

A medevil first person multiplayer combat game, where you fight your friends and enemies in a handful of bloody game modes. This game is a violent and fun time that should be had by all.

Some skill may be require to kill your enemies.

A great cyber-punk RPG. It's fun, violent, and a bloody good time. With great replayability and multiplayer E.Y.E. offers more fun then one person could know to do with.

First off let me start by saying it's free. That alone should have sold you this game, but some need more then that so anywho its a over head co-op shooter. You got four players running around killing aliens and trying to do objective and then get to the end of the level. SImple enough, but very amusing. I'd recommend this to anyone because it's fun and free.

A fun filled game full of action and humor. With the plenty of mixtures and combos of spells you it really doesn't get old. It also has up to four player co-op where you can then combine spells with your friends. So grab your staff and your sword and go kick so ass in Magicka.
Update - It's also much better then the second one.
