The correct way to do a remaster. Some people are complaining about the $6 jpg dlc, they're right, don't buy that, problem solved.

It's incredibly slow and the battle pass/ F2P systems are awful, but it could be patched into something worthwhile. You can't play hotseat co-op against people online or even in their story mode. Just poor decision-making at every turn.

It's good, it's very reminiscent of Hades even though the developers did Dead Cells, so I dunno why they would take things like the exact same death animation, boons, weapons etc from a different roguelike rather than their own. I'll play more when there's more content.

So the very first thing I need to do is punch this adorable ball of sheep that looks like a stuffed animal, while it cries, and runs away? No, ♥♥♥♥ you.

Impossible to count cards in BJ as you can't see far enough to see other's hands. Pointless.

It is a working version of the boardgame. There are bugs that sometimes ruin a match, and the dice physics aren't great, but if you already love the boardgame you will fall right into this as a much faster way to play it. I would be ok with a version of each Undaunted game in this same engine.

"Inspire" needs a clearer explanation; I know that it means "replay a card you played this turn already" but I know that because of the boardgame, not the tooltip.

The graphics need work, you can't tell at a glance what some units are because the tree model they're near will cover it up. Very "Day one in Poser" feel to the units.

The "campaign" button doesn't work, and doesn't seem that it would be an interesting feature if it DID work.

Plenty of work to do but still good enough to play through.

Developer has learned some lessons from Demon's Tilt.

The ball is bigger and the pace/speed is slower, not in a way that makes it "easier", necessarily, but very much more 'playable'. In Demon's Tilt it often feels like you're just watching the game happen and hoping, more than directing/playing it, that feeling is mostly gone here.

The sound mixing is still strange; the announcer still sounds like you're hearing someone with a strange accent or lisp talk to you through a 2-way radio; clear enough without music but often garbled and lost when the soundtrack is really pumping. It's a small gripe because mostly (not always) the voice line is accompanied by text on-screen as well, but aesthetically it's just awkward.

I can't wait to play more and see what tweaks are made through Early Access to refine this game into it's best version.

They have voice acting for the animals that you can talk to with the Speak To Animals spell.

Very little hand-holding, it's absolutely possible, even likely, that you'll stumble upon something WAY too serious for your party and have to swallow your pride and reload an earlier save, having learned the hard way not to explore the Underdark at level 4.

As close to playing D&D with a DM that, maybe doesn't WANT to kill you, but does not care if you die, as you can get in a PC game and I respect that.
