probably the best indie fighter you can get for your money. gameplay is easy to pick up and lets you play as small as you want to, while having a high skill ceiling. the cast of characters is super unique in flavor and function, there's something for everyone here. beautifully animated sprites, really endearing artstyle, awesome music, a crapload of modes and features that put most AAA offerings to shame (the tutorial TEACHES YOU FG TERMINOLOGY!!!), what else can I say?

how it feels to drive the speed limit on 25I-NBOMe

bit bummed they don't have new voicelines or unlockable challenges, but they look sick. fun little extra content if you like lethal league

forget comparing this to another game, this right here's a 999 km/h soundclash of vibrant street culture and visions of the future like you've never seen. controls are buttery smooth, maps are expansive and fun to explore, story is a wild ride with an endearing cast of vandals and crooked cops... and there's fat beats to boot.

edit: the fact i finished the game long ago and i'm still having fun messing around speaks volumes about how good this is, there's even a modding scene for it with tons of cool shiz. seriously, go play it

i like it a lot! it's got a great variety of race events and tracks, a nice selection of cars with some surprises, addictive arcade gameplay that keeps you coming back for more, a soulful and upbeat soundtrack, AND it's all made in spain, where i'm from!

my only peeve is that you can't set up your own binds for controls and that the stick steering isn't gradual, plus the minimap doesn't seem to show on Denise Beach, but everything else works as it should. really looking forward to 2!

really solid mechanics and pleasing visuals, would be a fun little timewaster if it weren't for the random crashes, really detracts from the experience

i just can't bring myself to like it, doesn't hold up to Rollcage at all
the tracks are unmemorable and railroaded at best, and an awfully designed mess at worst, not to mention the cars feel like you're steering a breezeblock, as opposed to the classics' more free flowing, tight controls
throw in an uninspiring drum-n-bass OST and some generic sci-fi setpieces and vehicles and you get GRIP basically, wouldn't recommend
