This game is just awesome. After having played the original Crusader Kings game which was quite good but nowhere near being my favourite Paradox game, i wasn't very excited about this game at first. But once i tried the demo i was completely amazed. It's one of the most exciting games i have played in years! It is also quite hard at first because there is so many things to do and keep in mind.

Funny thing for me is: 1) I had original Crusader Kings, but never played it. The manual was so cool that when I saw there was a CK2, I bought the disc from Amazon (and the seller was from England). 2) I saw that you could convert CK2 to EU4, and then had to buy CK2, EU4, and the Converter DLC from Steam... I had to be able to play forever and ever. (I sold the disc to Half Price Books).

I started off playing as Navarre, but gradually found my way to the Empire of the Romans (that some people call "the Byzantines"). I cannot wait to expand West following our Roman heritage and then East to India following our Hellenistic heritage from Alexander and Seleucus!

Thanks, Dorimius for your mods to make CK2 better!

I do also recommend that game. I've spent already several hours of plotting and ruling the country. Must-have for people interested in history. :ambition:
