Amazing game, but waaaay too short.
It took me about 2 hours of playtime to finish. The price is a bit too high for this, I regret not to have waited for a sale.

When it comes to metroidvania, the biggest challenge is to provide an evolving gameplay that keeps you hooked all throughout the game; in wildly different areas. Hollow knight starts slow, gloom and heavy; its cartoony design in stark contrast with the themes and the athmosphere. And little by little, there is a thrill of exploration that kicks in.

And when it does, the alchemy is absolutely perfect. There is not a moment when you feel powerless or overpowered, the challenge seamlessly increases and the different backgrounds you travel in all have their own spirit and story.

Hollow Knight is a masterpiece.
