Early Access Review
The PvE mode is clearly where it's at, it's such a great game loop to play with friend. It seems like it could also be made to scale based on party sizes to allow for larger than 3 man parties. That could allow for the current "base" tuning to work for 3 ppl party but then 4+ size parties could scale to spawn more enemies.

Super great game. Literally has no right to be as fun as it is for being a free game.

I've paid for $60 AAA games and gotten less enjoyment out of them. Like really, it's absolutely free and is this good of a game? With that perspective in mind, there's a lot of reasons you could feel like it's the best Arena Shooter game in recent times.

My only criticism and hope for this game is that the Custom maps grow into a Community maps format instead. Something that should allow the steam workshop, or other means, to distribute custom maps easily. That would be dope but is just extra on top because the official maps are great as it is.

Garbage - this hurt my computer to try and run. Such a poorly made game that it feels like a virus.
Can't play with my friends so what's the point.

Pew pew pew. Killing Zeds with friends is a blast. The online community seems pretty great so far too.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much at all. I enjoyed the first game for what it was at the time and was hoping to have a bit more closure on the story. That said, I played the game for the story and not necessarily the mechanices that other people seem to be critical of. I guess that might be why I feel less negative about the game overall.

Also, don't buy the game full price; or do! Who am I to tell you what to do - but, I got this on a Humble Bundle so did not pay near full price. I'd suggest picking this up on steam sale, or where ever, if you're feeling unsure about it. It's a great game for what it is, so I think even near full price it's probably worth it.

There's a need for games that are offline solo experiences that provide a rich but uncomplicated experience. Unlike other games it it's genre there doesn't seem to be an unnecessary amount of grinding. I think the other key is having an experience that doesn't take too long to complete - not too long, not too short. Homefront: the revolution definitely hit that mark for me.

Having completed the game once through so far I can say it has some replay-ability to it. Increasing difficulty will definitely be a must with this one on replays - this may skew ease of progress though. Completing the once through in just under 18 hours felt pretty on par and I'm curious to see how the second one will go!

You start your journey as a young person crushed by the monotony of modern life. When you're finally ready to give in you open a letter from your long passed Grandpa. In the letter you find a new sense of purpose, a new hope and a new chance for life. You begin your journey promptly by starting to clear the grounds. Soon after you gain the necessary resources to upgrade your farm house, add new buildings and begin raising animals.

Before you know it you've lost 12 hours of your real day but are left with a sense of accomplishment for the work you put in. The game requires a certain level of grind, but has such an interesting level of depth it doesn't become monotonous. Overall a great experience to play and would highly recommend!
