i think i love this game studio. the vibes of this game are so unique while still feeling familiar. it's wacky and morbid but that's just on the surface, the game is really about community, seeing people for who they are, and hope. watching the town go from hostile and filthy to vibrant and friendly as you get to meet more characters and find out what they care about and what they love about their town is so satisfying and fun. all the mascots you find have their own hopes and aspirations and you get to learn about them as you manage them. i've learned a lot about Japanese culture thru the mascots too, thanks to Kofun i spent hours reading about Kofun era burial mounds. this is definitely a game i'm going to return to in the future

strange and fun. it's fun! easy to replay bc of how much there is to do and see! i love any game that encourages you to explore. you can beat the game pretty quickly if you don't, so make sure you take your time and look around! very few games make me start a second playthru right after my first and even fewer are the second playthrus i actually finish. going in for a third.

incredible creepy and atmospheric horror game that goes beyond the bounds of what you might be expecting. it got in my head in an irresistible way. i still haven't gotten all the endings and i'm struggling not to spoil the game for myself

it's just fun. it's cute and makes having fun convos so easy. you can fish in a toilet. you can have a hat that says you love to pee. it's chill and lovely

this game is really addictive! i love high bpm electronic music and rhythm games and this one is easy to pick up but has some really engaging and difficult tracks. you can play as marisa and reimu too so that rules lol. you can also unlock opening animations and illustrations to show during loading screens. i wish i could change the dev logo screen tho

funny, sad, unsettling, heartwarming

very strange and a lot of fun. the mechanics are interesting and the puzzles aren't too hard but aren't so easy that they're boring. they take a bit of lateral thinking sometimes but the game rewards you well for trying things out. great soundtrack!
