What may begin as a simple card game using poker hands for a base became an obsession that once you start you cannot put down.

Poker hands are the base, so if you have experience, you might have a better time starting. If not, the game will drill into you what the hands are. If you still can't memorize, the game has a handy cheat sheet you can reference any time you need to see what each hand is. And since this is a deck builder, you might skew the deck in your favor for certain hands. Or some forbidden/illegal hands you don't normally find in a poker game.

Oh, and there's Jimbo. He and the troupe of Jokers will change up how wildly the game can help you out or throw you in for a loop if you don't have the right build to reach to the end of the rounds.

Did I mention there's Tarot cards and solar system planet cards in the mix to also help make your hands and plays all the more weirder?

You and 3 other dwarves (if you so choose, you can go solo) fight to stay employed by drinking copious amounts of beer, dig holes, explode said holes, mine for ores and all with gun, drills, light sticks and more to shoot, maim, explode and possibly discombobulate on a rock planet nobody in their bloody right mind would dare to touch?

From solo play to group hunts, there's always something to do in MHW. Weapons for every playstyle, armors for looks or stats and seasonal events to keep you busy, you'll find something to aim towards.

A great hop-in/hop-out game but hard to ever put down as it holds you with an iron grip of the all too common "Just one more run!" phrase. It's also a great introduction to strategy-based rogue-likes as the time pause mechanic allows the player to step back, retarget, refocus, rethink and the approach to the ever changing situations of the game.

Don't like sandboxes? Don't have a vivid imagination? Hate how plain Minecraft is? Then Terraria is for you.

While the common Tl;Dr explanation of the game is "2D Minecraft", I prefer "2D Minecraft with a purpose every moment." Rather than your traditional sandbox game, Terraria has layers upon layers of bosses and gear to keep you busy. While it can get overwhelming and a bit tiring, you can play the game either solo or multiplayer with friends. Don't be afraid to look up guides, it is that big with materials and stuff to work with.

Weapon variety is huge. And by huge, I mean almost any playstyle you can imagine. Wanna be your usual warrior with swords? Charge!!! A mage with strong magic staves, rods, spellbooks? Go ahead and find the magic gear that works for you! Have creatures fight on your behalf while you focus on dodging and weaving? Fire and forget!! Wanna feel young and just beat every living thing with a yo-yo? You bet you can!

A dungeon crawler based around the beats of the music. It may sound tedious and/or daunting but the game can be played with only one hand. No, seriously you can; all you need are 4 movement keys and the rest is a combination of the 4.

With music so amazing that's hard to compare it with anything like it, you'll remember them even when not playing. The story keeps getting deeper the more you delve into the Crypt, providing a sense of achievement once you beat that zone you kept dying 20+ times. With a variety of characters that offer their own rules to play (no missed beats, no gold picked up, etc.) you can find someone to fit your style or to give you a strong challenge.

It also has a daily challenge for those that want to prove their skills to the world in the daily leaderboard. It also has a level maker and seeded runs for those that want to race or speedrun the game.

Have you ever imagined being the captain of your own starship, just like Captain Kirk or Captain Picard from Star Trek? Or even being in one of the countless space battles between 2 starcruisers seen in the Star Wars series? Well, this game will do that and much more.

Classified as a MOBA, it focuses on 5v5 matches. There are no ultimate abilities/skills for you to rely on, only your judgement, guile, ship, and squadron.

You'll start with 3 basic ships from 3 different manufacturers each(United Space Research[USR], Zarek Industries, and Titan Defense Systems[TDS]) for you to get your bearings.
You'll start earning expirience with the ship's manufacturer as you keep on playing. From there, you use the expireince to unlock different weapons. You can purchase any ship and it's variety of weapon selections with in-game credits earned by playing, so you can customie your ship with a variety of loadouts based on your playstyle or team composition. From homing Smartguns, to Torpedoes, and different Engines, you'll find that each ship's indivuduality is highlighted with your choice of weapons and systems you put into them.

The game provides VERY early access if you pay for it and decide to play it(currently on the writting of this review, the game is on Alpha stage). But if you decide to wait for the games full release, it'll be completely F2P. The only things that you could pay in-game is for cosmetic skins for the ships, similarly like in TF2.

Update Jun/29/2016: Game's gone F2P on June, manufacturer EXP will be removed on the July update.

Update Sep/29/2016: Game's left Early Access.

Early Access Review
As a person who doesn't play MOBAs, this game makes quite a different introduction to the concept.

I have played since the closed Beta, and it has come a LOOONG way.

All the characters are different from each other, making everyone unique to a great plethora of playstyles. Be it supporting others by heals, dealing burst damage while controling your enemies, or providing area denial with steady damage, you have the abilities(and the character) to suit your situation.

What makes the game diferent from the MOBAs like Dota and LoL is the weapons that you can choose, find, create, and modify to your preferences. In the 2 MOBAs previously mentioned, the character you play as dictates what your role is.

In this game, the weapons provide a lot more flexibility than what you'd expect.
Combine attack speed with some critical hits, and you'd be a powerhouse no matter if you only do support. Combine blocking with some life leech, and you're a walking vampire to your foes. And with 3 diferent melee and projectile weapons, you can make a combination of the 2 to be as a deadly sniper with some hard hitting fists, to a dual weilding gunslinger with a heavy 2 handed melee weapon for some devastating up-close-and-personal fights.

This game is unlike any other MMO that you'll find out there. With multiple classes to choose and a variety of weapons to find and learn to use, you'll find something to fit your play style. Also, the multitude of updates will never let you get bored while playing the game.
