The Hombre

The Legend of Coat and The Hombre is a tragic tale of badassery gone right. Rumor has it, that there was a battle on the day of their predestined meeting, the name was assigned to The Hombre by a hardened American general saying, "Coat, you and the Hombre there, take the bridge, and protect her like she's your baby; this battle is lost without her." Coat and The Hombre rode headlong into what should have been a suicidal attempt at taking over a bridge, but became the origin for their legend. The two men shared a good deal of conversation while taking part in the killing of three-hundred men total, their names were discussed, but with their brother-like bond, decided to keep their nicknames for the future, realizing the power a name held over an individual. The two men held the bridge for three days, and on the third day a horn of retreat resounded from the opposing army's camp. Coat and The Hombre cheered at their impressive skills. Upon returning to the camp, they realized that the enemy's horn was for Victory, not retreat. The hardened general met his end by an ambush that set out on the last day. The two soldiers spat upon the corpse of the general, it seems that while the two friend's fought for their lives, the general and the remainder of the army drank their nights away, celebrating his amazing tactical decision to put the two misfits under his command in direct line of fire. From this point forward, two friends, left to die by their country, struck forth with hot lead, to carve a hole in this world for justice.
