If it makes a difference, the hair on my legs is very very thick and dark. I am Caucasian. I think people who have fine light blonde hairs on their legs will find this product works excellently, and the rest of us, with dark thick hair, it works amazingly well, you just might need an extra minute or two. Afterwards, I recommend that you use some kind of soothing oil on your legs. I use coconut oil. It's safe, cheap, and an excellent nourishing oil without added chemicals or fragrances. Coconut oil is pure, and great for many things, from your skin and hair, to cooking, and yes, even as a lubricant. It will work better, and be healthier, on your skin than even baby oil, which is full of chemicals you can't pronounce and have no idea what they are, and fragrances, which are unnecessary.

I have used this product for my underarms, my legs, thighs and bikini area, and my upper lip. All with excellent results. For best results, to remove the hair, use a wet washcloth and just keep wiping over the areas until the hair is gone. If you need to 'touch up' a place or two that still has hair, a quick go-over with a disposable razor will work great. But I've found this rarely necessary. However, everyone's body is different-- you might need a little more than 3 minutes, or a little less.

Still, much easier than shaving! The stuff does have a strong smell. But here again, it is a HUGE improvement over what it USED to smell like years ago! It is very slippery on your hands, and feels hard to wash off, even with soap. But after a good shower, it will be gone. You will still notice a slight smell though. I have used this in the bikini area, but wouldn't recommend it. They make a special bikini cream for that area, which is a great product! I highly recommend it! But do not leave it on longer than necessary, it will cause chemical burns in those tender areas! So make sure you use the bikini cream for that area!

I am 46 and have been using NAIR products since I was a teen. I can tell you that the Nair of today is greatly improved over what we had years ago! HUGE improvements! First, it only takes about 3 minutes. It used to take maybe 10, or more, years ago. So after 3 minutes, start wiping the area with a wet washcloth. If there is hair on your cloth, it's time to start removing the lotion and hair. Know that this lotion does NOT remove hair at the follicle level, but at the surface of the skin. So while you will feel smooth for a few hours, you WILL notice hair growing back in a short time.
