I admittedly know basically nothing about Skullgirls, this review is not of the game but instead to counter a wave of negative reviews due to an update.

an update that removed Nazi-like depictions including armbands and symbols, adjusted character artwork to remove sexualization of younger characters and racial stereotypes

the adversity to an inarguably good update show a problem with the community as a whole, making it inaccessible to a range of diverse individuals. this is a good start to battling that these issues.
