It's stunning how Cyan managed to recreate the original Riven so faithfully and even improve the art and graphics over the original's prerendered frames. It's just so gorgeous, I was constantly in awe. The major puzzles got redesigned in interesting ways and were very satisfying to solve. I highly recommend Riven for all puzzle/adventure game fans.

A really terrific puzzle game which causes you to have "Ah-ha!" moments frequently. Its puzzle design gets very clever and its a beautiful art showpiece. I highly recommend.

In a genre of tedium, mediocrity, and illogical design, The Long Dark is the diamond in the rough. From the moment you start your game, you're thrust into a place that does not want you alive, and I'm not talking about animals, they can't hold a candle to the harshness that is the weather. One bad decision and you're completely lost a zero visibilty blizzard with small hope for survival. Survival is not a matter of chance but a matter of wits. "Supplies are running low. Do I set out into the storm or go hungry for another day?" The decisions matter. I've been an Early Access customer for since the game launched and I've constantly been impressed with not only how quickly the game has grown in size, but how professional the development team is. The Long Dark is the only survival game that has had the confidence to attempt to truely replicate wilderness survival, and it has succeeded in spade.
