More addicting than crack. As a free-to-play game, Warframe has a polish unmatched by most other free-to-play games. There are plenty of reasons why it's one of the top games played on Steam. Its community is shockingly helpful and friendly both through trading and in helping with difficult missions and alerts. Graphically and technically, it looks and runs great. Backed by fun and challenging gameplay, Warframe has lots to offer through its different frames and large variety of weapons. Many different playstyles are catered to and there is versatility in viable builds. Digital Extremes regularly reviews popular user-made content in the form of skins from the Steam workshop and adds them into the game.

The game may be a grind at times, but it's more manageble due to the game being legitimate fun. Some game systems implemented early on in development are underutilized and have yet to fully coming to fruition years later (e.g archwing, dark sectors). The intro tutorials and explanations to beginner players also do little to help prepare newcomers. Guides written by the helpful community clear up some of this confusion and players are more than willing to answer any questions someone may have.

In all, if you've ever wanted be a space ninja with jet powered hammers, ice cannons, or simply a generic rifle, give Warframe a go.
