All the ♥♥♥♥ that justified a negative review for this game at launch and the following year is completely fixed. It's a good game. The developers are great and communicate ALOT with the community and listen to everything we complain about. Any negative reviews that this game gets now is due to the core gameplay which might rub some people the wrong way, but there is nothing wrong with the quality. Its a well executed concept of a figthing game, it's just too bad the learning curve is a bit steep, and the game is very rage inducing (as any 100% skill-based game), so alot of new player dismiss it and leave a negative review cause its too hard and doesn't have that instant gratification for the first 30 hours.

One of the best pvp experiences I've had. The controls are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ perfect. You really feel that you are in control of everything you do. Minimal visual clutter, you can clearly see every ability and every attack, thanks to good telegraphing. The amount of satisfaction you get from mastering a character is immense and extremely rewarding.

There's no character progression; its you the player that gets better, not the hero you're playing. There is some costmetic customization present though which is always nice.

However, I do feel that there needs to be more content in the way of maps/gamemodes/characters. As fun as the combat is, the 2v2 and 3v3 can get stale sometimes. League of Legends has proven that a single map is sufficient, if you have the character roster to back it up and make every match spicy and different. Battlerites focus right now should definetly be one of the three things previously mentioned.

But as of right now is a really solid, polished and damn fun game. Check it out, 100%.
