I don't know what to say about this game that hasn't been said already.

Helldivers 2 is a fantastic co-op game where strategy and teamwork are everything. There are few games like this out there, so I highly recommend because of it's great community, dev team, and gameplay. Also, the game is getting monthly updates that are filled with new weapons, stratagems, and missions for you to try out with your friends (or randoms!)

It's one of those games where the nice and fun interactions you had with a stranger from another country stick with you as most people are not toxic at all and they are just looking for a good time.
