Masterpiece!

Absolutely beautiful.

Masterpiece.

Don't be fooled by the metacritic score - this game is far better than the first one in every aspect one can think of. Having said that, there's still room for improvements and Relic knows it and has provided modtools and is contanstly patching the game. CoH2 is a masterpiece that will get even better further down the road. Arguably the best RTS game out there along with SC2.

Great atmosphere, challenging missions and good gameplay (thanks to the source engine), but at the end of the day it feels like a mod because so many things have been directly transported from the Half-Life series. Sometimes I think the developers suffered from delusions of grandeur when designing this game and have obviously missed a lot stuff. The game is also ridden with bugs at the moment but there is some hope on that matter, as the developers are listening to the community and acknowleding the bugs - but it needs much more than one patch to be actually good. Right now, it will be good for a small percentage of hardcore sci-fi/atmospheric shooter fans like myself. Fans of games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. might find it good as well, because the punishment you'll take here is just as high...
