Pretty good game. With the amount of attention its gotten both with updates and DLC, it stands remarkably well for its age, and is just generally appealing and fun once you've learned it. A fun way to discover an interesting age in history. Always fun to paint maps, and to do anything in your power to beat superior enemies. Plenty of room to strategise and maximise. Like with other paradox games though, steep learning curve. Get a friend or a bingable youtube channel to teach you.

My clear favourite of the paradox games. While I can't comment on it in terms of older hearts of irons (this one was my first pdx game), it is today (with all the dlcs) a very fun and varied game. Plenty of room for different types of playthroughs in different timelines (I always play without historical enabled). Can be a whole lot of fun with friends if they're equally into it. Highly engaged mod community. Just a fun gameplay loop once you start really understanding the game, and getting good enough to try various kinds of strategies.

Avoid for now if you don't like early access games, but otherwise I'd totally reccomend. Very satisfying team and gunplay.

10/10 If you don't get this game I will come to your house and beat you with a bat!

The level design seems to have dropped in quality since the original, though you should definitely pick it up if you enjoyed Hotline Miami

What more could you ask for?

Most enjoyable competitive shooter I've played, even though it's still quite buggy and unbalanced.

If ubisoft keeps handing out updates and free DLCs for the game, it'll definitely make it big :D
