First of all - I love this game. It looks fantastic, the story is great and it's packed with great content. Normally I would say this is a must have game, no doubt. Personally I have a lot of fun with it an I will definitely play it through.

BUT. As much as I want to - I can't recommend it right now. The issues "Jedi Survivor" has are just too massive. My PC specs are way above the officially recommended specs and while I can maintain 60FPS most of the time and sometimes even above 100FPS, there are some areas where it can go as low as 30FPS. Even with high end hardware the performance is just a mess and really damages the - otherwise superb - experience. Also right at the moment as I'm writing this review I'm completely unable to start the game because the EA servers are down, even though this is a singleplayer game.

Such a shame because the game itself is fantastic and I would go as far and say that it could have been game of the year material. But technically it's just too much of a disaster and you'd have to close both eyes and leave the country to look past it.

Wait for patches and a discount, then get it. Right now not worth it.

EDIT: After months of waiting for patches, none of them actually fixed the game. It's beyond broken. Every patch introduces new bugs and I literally waited more than a month now since the last patch, hoping they would finally fix the crashes at least. Patch 6 came out yesterday and it did nothing. Still crashing, performance is still bad.
I don't know what the hell they are doing but I'm done with this game. I said I would finish it but I literally can't as every time the game crashes my progress gets reset. I'm stuck and I'm not waiting for another month for a patch that does nothing.

I don't know how they could f*ck up so badly, but I would recommend to stay away from this game.

Early Access Review
The Demonoloading Screen.
The real game here is to find the crashes and bugs and trying to get past the loading screen.
No seriously I'm unable to get past the loading screen, it's literally unplayable right now.

Looks good and is fun for a couple hours, but gets repetitive really fast. Parkour feels okay, not bad but sometimes feels slow and not as fluid as in Mirrors Edge for example. Combat is just mashing one button, no real depth at all. You can dismember enemies which looks cool but man that Combat Skill Tree must be the most useless skill tree I've seen in a game.
Story is bad. There are some good side quests but most of the time it was so damn boring. There are some choices and consequences but the characters are so bland that I really don't care about them at all. For people who like story-driven games this one is hell.

If you have the decision between Saints & Sinners and Onslaught then go most definitely with Saints & Sinners.
If you are one of the many people who already played Saints & Sinners then this will be a downgrade for you in almost every aspect and you'll probably be very disappointed.
I can just hope that Survios makes this game better with future updates.

I'm 2 Hours in and usually don't write reviews/previews but this one deserves it.
Huge fan of Arkanes "Dishonored" series and while I don't know the original Prey, you could pretty much say Arkane made a more than solid game here. Like I mentioned I'm still early game but I'm getting huge "Bioshock" vibes here mixed with the feeling I had when I played Half Life for the first time and of course "Dishonored", but less than expected. So I would say there is a good chance that anyone who likes one of the mentioned games, will also like Arkanes' "Prey".

Played probably over 500 hours since release (non-steam version). Bought it like 3 times (standard, GOTY-Retail and GOTY-Steam) just because I like this game so much. Love the entire Fallout series but Fallout 3 is probably my alltime favorite. It's the ultimate open world RPG, totally worth the money.

I know for sure I will rot in hell just for buying this game. I'm ashamed ... Satan tricked me again.
