If you're a gamer of a certain age, a sub-10 hour point-and-click adventure game with a retro visual style, great soundtrack and truly bizarre worldbuilding and lore is EXACTLY the kind of thing you're looking for.

I like to imagine that NORCO is a lost LucasArts or Sierra adventure that was deemed a little too dark for the late-90's. The characters are memorable - which is a feat given the brevity of the game, and the interface has some interesting ideas (like the Mind Map) which I'd love to see used again. There are a few puzzle sequences that resort to abstract visuals and text menus and feel a little bolted on, but overall a solid if fairly easy game.

I had a great time with this one and if you love classic adventure games, you'll love NORCO.

Thoroughly enjoyable, five years after its release. Did not expect to love this game as much as did, but it was a blast, Some excellent, memorable characters including a ♥♥♥♥♥-out 80's-loving Russian gang lord who loves to rock out, a sultry reporter and a borderline insane CIA operative with a penchant for torture and demolition. What's not to love?

Ran like a dream on my old AMD Athlon X4 & Radeon 6670. Play this game with an Xbox 360 controller. It's the best way to experience it.
