I have been playing this game since 2018 (F2P as of posting this), and it's nice to see it finally here.
(You can access your arenanet account by setting the launch option -provider Portal)

• One of the best MMORPG that respects your time, you could be inactive for a year and come back without feeling left out.
  
• Discovering new areas, reviving fallen comrades, assisting others and discovering secrets gives you exp.
  
• Story is fully voice acted, even your created character, giving them a personality based on your race.
  
• Classes are flexible, A warrior may use a great sword to slice an enemy while a Mesmer uses it as a big ass magic wand .
  
• There is no fear of other players taking your kill because loot is shared.
  
• Excellent hybrid of tab targeting combat with dodge mechanics.
  
• PvP and PvE has a separate progression, you're at max level in PvP. You could go into PvP mode to test your class and see what builds you can do or what the class is capable of.
  
• World vs World mode. A combination of PvE and PvP where 3 servers engage in a constant open-world territory combat.

• F2P stuck with only 2 character slots. You could create and go straight into PvP mode (training area) to test out the mechanics of your class at max level and see if it clicks with you.
  
• Some skill FX are blinding like holy hell (or maybe it's just the mesmer class I donno).
  
• Inventory & bank is limited in F2P, (you could transfer your crafting materials instantly by clicking the deposit materials box icon at the top right corner of the Inventory tab).
  
• Early game might turn other people off for how easy it is, but difficulty balances out mid-late game.
  
• No quest markers here might confuse others. It's more on the side of "do your own thing". You could stop a current task to join an ongoing event close by and maintain the progress you left earlier.
  
• If you're into the PvP side and a F2P, base classes are doable but its much harder to fight elite spec classes.
  
• World vs World teams are server based. If you and your friends are in a different server and you want to try WvW, you must be both in the same team(server). Changing server is paid (1 free when upgrading), MIND YOU that PvE and PvP is not affected by this and you can still play with others who are in a different server.
  
• Cash shop is filled with cosmetics and pay for convenience (e.g. more inventory slot/bank storage/crafting shortcuts) which won't even be needed. Heck, once you've upgraded your account you could buy gems with your gold and not spend real money.
  
• If you're using an old account(-provider Portal) you could only buy the expansions through the main site (arenanet) and not here on steam.

Try it, it's free, almost 200+ hours of content just in the base game. And if you want to experience more story/maps/skills get the HoT & PoF expansion, giving you mounts, 2 specialization for your class, new hard map, new story, new progression, trading, gold to gem conversion, and more inventory slots. I'm also planning to buy the expansion soon.

One of the best co-op games I've played! Fun with friends and solo! Each stage can be done with your own pace, you can even skip some of the parts with your own creative ways! Tired with some of the levels? Play other stages created by other people in the workshop! Tired of playing alone? Go online and play with randoms! Join at the official discord and make friends with other people!

Bought this game expecting for an addicting gameplay even when playing solo, did not disappoint. The attention to detail to every aspect of the game is astounding. The game has many Don'ts and less Do's, with the challenge of being overwhelmed and friendly fire makes the game harder and engaging!! (in co-op). The game is still alive and it's updated yearly, making it much better! Also, the DLC's are worth it! Been playing with friends, they also enjoyed it like I do.

This is one of the fighting games i really love. It's always fun to play even though some of your opponents are really good! If you like smash bros. Ultimate, you should try this one! Never played a smash like game? Then try this one too! All in all it's a good game, just wish that there would be more characters added in the future (Edit: They did add new characters and THEY ARE SO FUN TO USE).
