You know what, ♥♥♥♥ it. Yeah, I'll rant about this. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate the term "simp". It gets under my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skin because when it's used on me, it feels like I'm being mocked for trying to be decent or for offering a kind word. I get called a simp for telling someone they have a Quality I appreciate. I get called a simp for agreeing to babysit one of my best friend's kids. I get called a simp for admitting that someone being affectionate towards me makes me happy. And why? What the ♥♥♥♥ about ANY of that qualifies as "simping"? Maybe if all this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Trash hadn't run the word into the ground and applied it CORRECTLY with its original meaning an intent, it wouldn't bother me. But no, just like anything else, it got twisted and now gets thrown around at every opportunity, even where it isn't needed or appropriate.
