I didn't play the first game, so this is my first encounter with this franchise.
The game has some minor bugs and graphical glitches. Very rarely, it crashes on startup, but these don’t make the game unplayable.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well the game runs on my PC. I thought I would have to play on low settings, but I can enjoy it on high.
However, there is one main story mission where you need to rescue the Dry Devil, and if you fail the dialogue option, it becomes nearly impossible to do so. Either you restart from the checkpoint before the cutscene, or you somehow fight off the enemy (I jumped on the hay wagon and used my bow and my pistole).
Overall, the game has some minor issues, but it is very fun and enjoyable, and it runs very smoothly. I especially liked the potion brewing and blacksmithing.

My childhood game is dying.
