I've been playing this game since it released and I love it. I've also played almost all of the other Fallout games (other than tactics and bos) so I can leave input in relation to those as well. I recognize that this game isn't for everyone but I do still think it's worth trying, especially for those who can get it on sale. I bought it back when it was $60 and I kind of wish it was cheaper at the time HOWEVER I do not regret buying it. I love this game.

Here's my pros and cons.

PROS:
- Fun game to play with friends. Since this is the only official multiplayer Fallout game, it's got that going for it. I like playing it with my fiance or my friends, but solo is fun for me as well.
- If you want to play solo, it's pretty easy to do that. Unless you go looking for other players (or they go looking for you, for whatever reason) you'll more than likely be on your own, anyway. If you need to, you can turn off voice so that you won't hear other people talk, but a lot don't speak as it is.
- Human NPCs and new dialogue options with existing robotic ones add new life to the game! I haven't gotten to do too much with them yet, but I'm super happy they've been added. Dialogue options are great and remind me more of other Fallout games.
- As neat as it was, most people agree that the player being voiced in Fallout 4 broke their immersion a lot. In this game your character doesn't speak out loud. You select your options from a list similar to Fo3, FoNV, and the games before it.
- Nuclear Winter (Battle Royale) is fun!! Give it a try, sometime!!

CONS:
- Sometimes buggy but they did add a LOT of bug fixes with the wastelanders update, so there aren't as many as before.
- Most of the hairstyles kind of suck. But that's pretty typical for Fallout, I guess.
- People that don't like being sent around the map doing fetch quests might not like this game. It has a LOT of fetch quests.
- It sometimes takes a while to find a Nuclear Winter (Battle Royale) game.
- Lots of people will go out of their way to insult the game and spam the ratings section with bad rep despite most of them not playing the game past beta or at all. This isn't the game's fault at all but it's super annoying.

NEW STUFF AS OF WASTELANDERS UPDATE TO NOTE:
+ LOADS of bugfixes!! Yay!
+ Human NPCs and diaglogue options for them and several pre-existing robotic NPCs.
+ New missions and quests, as well as new story-line and some tweaks to the old one.
+ Allies! You can find and recruit certain NPCs to your CAMP. They give you quests and some are romance-able!
+ New enemies!

I'll add more to this if I think of anything, but for the most part I can recommend this game. :)
