I am loving this game. However... Before I give you a proper review of the game, I want to address the current drama surrounding the game.So here we go.

There are MANY people (for various reasons) accusing the Palworld developers of unfound claims regarding plagiarism, slavery, animal abuse and the use of AI. As far as we can tell, there are currently no planned or ongoing lawsuits from Nintendo or any other company for plagiarism. There are claims that there have been legal actions taken but once again, no evidence has been provided but dead-end links in the discussions.

As someone who has been a fan of Pokemon in my early life, I have to say; that I find this entire drama baseless and malicious at its worst. Some claims are so far-fetched that they are just questionable. Yes, some (not many) of the Pals are similar to some Pokemon, just like Orcs and Ogres are in different literature for fantasy.

Now, onto the Animal Abuse and Slavery... People have forgotten that decades of gaming have been about fictional warfare, murder, theft, conspiracy, terrorism, cyber-crime, treason and any other crime that you can name. These have been the things that those old and uncultured boomer newscasters have been freaking about since the dawn of gaming.

It is laughable that these rage-bait people are more likely to focus on fictional games than handling real-world animal harm.

Now, about the AI.......... REALLY? Even if the game was partially or as a whole constructed by AI (in which no evidence indicates), why is that exactly considered up there with previously mentioned claims? Yes, AI may replace people's jobs in the future but it is not malicious, so why are people treating it like it is? Hell, people don't realise just just much algorithm-based stuff they interact with daily. Remember, Farriers are still around even after Cars were invented.

Alright, now that I spoke about the ridiculous claims, onto the actual review.

===First Impressions===
• It turned out to be a deeper survival game than it is about capturing "pets".
• The game runs pretty smoothly for something that was seemingly demanding at first.
• It was very easy to get into multiplayer with friends, even though you can only team up as 4 players.
• The mechanisms of the game are extremely easy to navigate and learn, especially the construction menu.
• I can climb pretty much anything, just like Conan Exiles. I love this.
• Palworld is pretty well made for an "Early Access" game. Some developers with the GDP of a small nation have released worse products recently.

===Pros===
• Easy to access and straightforward multiplayer for an Eastern game.
• During fights, you are a ranged combatant fighting alongside your Pals, mixing the dynamic human experience with the primal and elemental nature of the Pals.
• You can construct bases nearly anywhere.
• There is no tethering to the host of the game. I find it lazy that other developers use that method, and I prefer this style of going wherever I want.
• The UI is very helpful without getting in the way.

===Cons===
• The survival guide does not provide enough information to help with problems.
• It is difficult to gauge the timings to react against some attacks. This can be improved upon by tweaks to animations.
• Transporting resources from base to base is difficult, especially if you want other bases to be farms, mining, etc.
• At the time of writing this, there is currently no way to determine which inventory your Pals will drop resources to, and it can seem random sometimes.
• The damage scaling seems confusing at times.

===Final Thoughts===
This is the first time in a long time that I have had fun with a game like this. The Pals are a fresh take on "pets" as they actually do chores around your base instead of ONLY being there for combat.

I love survival games (I have a collective of like 4000 hours, with games off the top of my head), and this game is definitely in the top 5 for me. I hope that the developers continue to give this game the love it deserves, and I wish them the best.

A final note to some people out there. This game is cheaper than other titles and can fulfill your need to game more than most AAA titles that are three times the price. Just chill out, play it or don't.

As someone who has played this game quite a lot, I can say that the game has seen very little development over the recent years. Yes, there is an update once in awhile, but I can tell you that graphical updates are less important to the player-base than fixing the bugs that have plagued this game for years.

Once you have played at least 100 Hours into this game, you pretty much have learned everything there is, as the game is still very bare-bones. Lets start with the good stuff about it. However, I will not be getting into any of the Forum crap that happened, as both the community and the developers handled that stuff terribly.

This game hit many of the genres I personally enjoy, from Zombies in a Modern-ish setting to a post-apocalyptic Horror-esque Survival Game. I like that the Survival aspects of the game has more than just hunger, it had thirst, temperature and disease. I like that it was open-world-ish and I could explore places that were once apart of a now ruined nation. I love the sense of awareness that I must use while searching for items to keep myself and the other survivors alive. I love that the game allows you to build and mine in every direction. It was fun.

I put emphasis on 'was' because that's what it still is. It has been seven years of hearing promised updates for them to be shelved. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy visual updates, but not at the expense of everything else. I have seen this game transform before me on several occasions, but the fun of it only lasted so long, as I realised later that those updates really did not bring a lot to them, even when the patch notes looked so big.

When I see developers like Kinetic Games (Phasmophobia) or Iron Gate AB (Valheim), who truly love the product they have made, and they are such a small group of developers compared to the Fun Pimps (at one point had 22 or more Employees). I love seeing people actually love their creation and treat it as such, with many frequent updates that shape the future of their game. Those smaller developers seem to build upon their games much faster than the larger employment of Fun Pimps, and they also seem to have more of a direction than them as well. It pains me because 7 Days to Die will always hold a special place in my heart.

I will continue to wait, patiently, for updates, and try them as they come out. Whoever is reading this, take what I have said however you like, it is always your choice to whatever product you play, I just hope you will understand what you are getting yourself into. For now, I do not recommend the game. Maybe in another seven years.

Alright, so here's my personal opinion on the game.

===Pros===
+ Nice Character Creation
+ Unique setting
+ Good Story
+ Interesting Combat Mechanics
+ Decent Music
+ Alot of different fighting styles
+ Decent Graphics
+ Nice Animations
+ HUD isn't annoying and actually pretty good
+ Plenty Immersive
+ Enemy Types are interesting

===Cons===
- The Game babies you with Tutorials (sucks if you're already a "Gamer")
- Not enough voice dialogue (atleast in English)
- Fighting can be clunky at times
- Constant Chase (you can fight in more than 3 areas)
- Too many Plants on the way to areas. Just make them Clusters or something.
- Multiplayer was not explained properly.

===Things to avoid when starting===
' Button Mashing
' Reloading while being looked at by the Hunted
' TOADS, STAY AWAY FROM THEM
' Hitting friends with long Weapons (XD)

===Problems I've seen so far===
* Most Players seem to complain about increased CPU Usage which can make it unplayable. I have seen it spike from 40% to 90% a couple of times in my playthrough.

* Reloading Bug, you just sit there and reload your Gun over and over again until something hits you.

* CTD. Now I haven't gotten this yet but some people I know have. It doesn't seem to be frequent.

* Multiplayer random disconnects.

===Final Verdict===
The Game is fun, it brings an interesting amount of mechanics to play around with during fights. Although it has problems, the gameplay outways those problems and I'm sure they will come out with Patches to fix many of these problems and add more features.

I haven't played enough for it to get repetitive yet, so that's a good sign so far. I would also recommend that you actually take a look at your hud before freaking out and trying to figure out your Keys to heal, switch ammo, etc. Pretty much everything is infront of you.

Lastly, I would highly recommend that you buy this game on Sale (from trusted sources) in it's current State, hope you enjoyed my review!

-My first Experience-
1) Went with Friends to a Waterfall.
2) Built an easy Path to Victory with said Friends at said Waterwall.
3) Trapped said Friends with me in Spawn using Blackholes.
4) Now I'm friendless.
5) Would do again 10/10 -ign.

In all honesty, this game makes you want to be a villain so bad that people will pull their hair out while you laugh maniacly.

I saw Youtubers play the game before I even saw it on Steam and it seemed really fun.

My friends and I bought the game and proceeded to build insane Spinning Trap Arms, Spinning Crossbows, Sawblade Mazes and even Crushing Platforms... Let's just say we spent hours playing with our first playthrough.

My friends don't have alot of time to play games so I haven't gotten around to adding more Hours onto the game but ignore my Hours and buy the game with your friends, I really recommend it. It's fun, heart-pumping action that has been needed for so long. I don't even know why it took so long for a game like this to come out.

Everything below applys to the current time of this post.

===Pros===
+ Amazingly fun Traps.
+ Unique Experience.
+ Cute Sound Effects make a relaxing atmosphere.
+ Character Customization is available.
+ Large amount of Characters.
+ Map Design is well thought out.
+ We can f***ing dance.
+ Shows Multiplayer Host Region (THANK YOU).

===Cons===
- Latency (Arrows would hit without killing Players on your Screen but not theirs)
- Little Character Customization Options.

Other than that, there are Bugs but... hey, what game doesn't have Bugs.... rofl.
I'm sure the Dev Team is working on the two Cons I listed but currently they are the only real Cons I can point out.

Happy Trapping you ruthless, masochistic, erection-enduced Murderers.

This game has great physics and graphics. You get a default selection of Tools, Props, Weapons, Vehicles, Utilities, Gamemodes, Models and more. also you can download modifications and addons from Garrymod.org . I recommend that you have Counterstrike: Source for many servers such as Roleplay servers add this to create a whole new appearance to the map and scenery. You can create your own Gamemodes, Models, etc...
I recommend this to you because it is a massively multiplayed sandbox game. It is fun, i met alot of new friends and gained some experience on building and other kind of things. Enjoy.
