Uninstalled the game, it was fun while it lasted. When you download the latest update and boot the game, it prompts you to download all sorts of additional software by EPIC Games. The game worked fine before, but now it won't even boot if you don't have their crap software installed. There's no reason they needed to do this. Oh, not a surprise, but now you also need an additional Epic account now to play. Yeah, I deleted this rancid software and won't be playing it again.

As of the time I'm writing this review, only one episode is out. Episode 2-5 will come in the months to follow. Depending on if people are reading this review, expect an update by then.

Alright guys, let's get this over with before you keep on reading.
This is not a game where you can run around freely.
This is not a game where you can build your own buildings.
This is not a game where you survive.

It's not like Minecraft.

Don't expect an experience you had while playing Minecraft. This is a whole different kind of game.
But is it bad?

Short answer: No, definitely not.

You might not be familiar with TellTale games. If that's the case, then allow me to briefly explain what you can expect here. Like the name suggests, this game tells a tale. It is as if you're watching a movie, but with you as the main character. You're watching, meaning for the majority of the time, you're sitting back and watching the story unfold. But at the same time, you're the main character. That means you'll be able to talk for the main character, and sometimes play short scenes with him. But that's it. Now if this is your first TellTale game, then this might sound weird, and not very fun.

Alright, if you're familiar with TellTale, then start reading here, because this is where the 'tale' part comes in. In the beginning of the review I told you it's not like Minecraft. Or at least, it doesn't deliver an experience you might expect from a Minecraft game. Like I said, there's no building. No surviving. No exploring... But there's a tale. As this game's title suggests, it's a 'Story Mode'. A tale in the Minecraft universe. And believe me when I say, the tale is great. Sure, it's not for everyone, but as someone who has played lots of Minecraft in the past, I can say it really fits in the game's universe, and the story itself is also really well made. I'm being careful not to spoil anything here though, so I'll have to stop there.

If you need a more detailed review on the story itself, then check out other reviews on this game. My goal was to "warn" you that this game might not be what you think it is.
