Its a cool lil atmospheric game, the environments were very expansive and oppressive (in a good way) and the pacing between the big set pieces and fps bits was alright. A large part is fps platforming, but the controls are tight enough to where I never got frustrated. The lore was pretty interesting despite being kinda sparse and I was wishing the game went on at least another hour or so to answer more questions. It falls around the 1.5 hour range if you poke around and take your time going in blind. I wish there were more hidden nooks with lore bits that encouraged you to poke around the bigger environments more, but overall its worth the money imo for the aesthetics alone.

I was wondering why big studios and companies weren't trying their hands at a zombie type game, after looking around I didn't even realize they ported this to PC a while ago. Well worth the money, especially on a sale, and it is a peak example of what the zombie genre should be. Its not quite survival game mechanic wise (has some elements of it) but it all comes together for a very good experience, and I personally liked the story. Very polished and the only bugs I ever encountered were very minor and I could count them on one hand throughout my entire time playing.

I saw it on the store and decided why not since I had extra steam funds. If you like the idea of a somewhat janky russian themed half life game with a bit more horror to it and don't set your expectations too high, you'll have a good time. The gore and horror elements do give FEAR vibes too. Honestly impressive being made by just one guy clearly as a passion project. My only complaints are many of the soldier enemies move way too fast and have 0 momentum, so some gunfights show the jank way more than others, oh and apply a reduced scoped-in sensitivity on the sniper since it is quite hard to use lol. I would also say the game could definitely use omnidirectional sprinting too which would probably make some fights feel better and kinda lean a bit more to the action side of gameplay. The weapon quick switch is slick and the dev did a good job making pretty much all the weapons powerful and viable through the whole game so nothing really felt useless. The invis zombies were legit creepy sometimes and the AI actually did seem to flank which was a nice touch and kept those horror bits actually spooky. Overall aesthetic was pretty on point too and the music/VA work wasnt bad at all.

Respawn was known to make great games, and instead they pump out this garbage.

Unfunny cringe legends, cosmetics, and voice lines, I wish I could have turned them all off, but thats not even the worst.
They managed to take the entire gunplay formula of Titanfall 2, one of the best FPS's ever made and make legitimately every single aspect of it worse. It is honestly impressive how bad the gameplay is when its not a running simulator. The guns all do no damage, have tiny mag sizes, inaccurate, slow to reload (measured in business days), slow bullet travel, and to top it all off some of the worst hitreg I have ever experienced in an FPS. Its like they have a special needs gnome in every server calculating it by hand. Even with all the 'attachments' you get a gun that is still substantially worse feeling than its titanfall counterpart, honestly impressively bad design. It has all the bad parts of BR with literally no improvements or iteration on the formula, same garbage that every other company has pumped out. I would honestly rather bring back Radical Heights to play it than this ever again.

If you want a good game by them, GO PLAY TITANFALL 2. The servers started working again. I have so little hope for Titanfall 3 if that ever comes out, the Respawn you know and loved is most likely gone.

Stupid devs who don't know what their community wants, the entire UI in the normal game blows and I would never play again without a modded client to improve it.

Uninstalling and would never play again unless a 100% reversal is done

Great game, sword and gunplay are some of the best feeling I have played in a while. The humor and story are top notch too.
