If the frisbee didn't home-in on a player, and only travelled to their original location, this would be much better

Absolutely unforgiving to new players. Whilst it may have been great at one point, the ceiling now for abilities is so high that veteran players have an automatic advantage.

Do you like hunting monsters?! - Yes!

Do you like gearing up into a badass?! - Yes!

Do you have the required materials?! - Y... No, I don't...

Monster Hunter: World is the culmination of years of dedicated work, crafting what I believe to be one of the best RPG games ever created; I get it... "Everyone has an opinion..." "You've gotta let people decide for themselves..." "Jordan! stop mast*rbating in the kitchen...!" - life is hard, it really is! but nothing can quite serve you such a sense of escapism for a few blissful hours like MHW can.

Firstly, the good - MHW will honestly teleport you into a different dimension, a dimension filled with monsters beyond your wildest imaginations, from giant dragons all the way down to lowley... yellow, balloon lizard/wolves? I'm not sure... but you'll see it all! and once you're done murderin' up those monsters, you get to turn them into weapons... and necklaces... and clothing?... AND THEN use those "upcycled" garments and monster pokers to kill even more! it really is bliss, with some of the most densely packed, beautiful terrains, filled with harvestable flora and fauna, used in a whole variety of missions and to create a bunch of usable crap. MHW does something really well, it refrains from the side-quest mentality, it stops you doing pointless missions for no reason, and turns each mission, no matter the size into a useful and fulfilling experience and I love that.

Next, the bad - Remember the arsenal of usable stuff and cool wearables you can have? made from all that harvestable stuff? found on all those missions and expeditions?... Well, here is the caveat to all the cool stuff you can have, you've gotta get it all yourself... there are no handouts in MHW and trust me, it can be a lot of grinding... Without mentioning the Iceborne expansion, it took me over 100 hours just to complete the base game, and sure, I goofed around a lot and made a tonne of cool but unnecessary stuff, but it still takes a very long time to grind for all that stuff you're gonna need, and whilst that is great for some people, your experience may vary.

Lastly, the ugly... - Irrelevant of actual play, this game is a monster all of it's own just to actually get running. I have a GTX 970, a relatively ok card, but I struggle to run this game on anything above medium, which is fair enough, ironically "the ugly" is a chance for me to tell you how beautiful this game is, and oh man! is it beautiful... but at a cost. If you have just made your first budget PC, maybe steer clear for a little while until some upgrades.

Rocket League is a game that requires no introduction, but, for the uninitiated, it is essentially a mish-mash of football and cars. Easy to understand, right?

Honestly though, it goes much deeper than that, over years of trying to perfect intricate maneuvers, playing game after game and attempting, just once, to pull of the most amazing goal ever, you will finally realise that you completely suck at Rocket League...

It is a great game with excellent replayability, the mixture of competitivity and chilled play, through fun customisations and the beautiful, eccentric thematics, you will have a great time playing.

It's drawbacks? Whilst it's not pay-to-win so to say, there is a tonne of content that requires either an even greater tonne of grinding, of some pretty deep pockets. It isn't pay-to-win because these are essentially cosmetics, but some people really do care about the EXACT size hitbox of their individual cars, so your mileage (pun intended) may vary.

Should you buy it? Yes

Will you have fun? Yes

Is there toxicity...? All I have to say is "Great Pass.", "Nice Shot!" and "What a save!"...

Have you ever just been violently murdered by multiple individuals for literally walking down a road fully nude whilst holding an Apple Juice Box?? well now you have the chance too!!

10/10 would get brutally murdered for juice, again

Do you like running in as the hero taking 30 million bullets to the ass and escaping with the money, damsel in distress or other assorted goodie(s)? Yes!!!, then this is not the game for you, in this game getting shot is unforgiving, escaping with the money is illegal and the damsel in distress is the woman you just shouted at and then zip-tied, however if you do like intense FPS games where teamwork and cooperation are key whils't you pull of some pretty intense heist's then this is the game for you.
