Pick on someone your own size, whatever that may be.
I've backed this game back late last summer and played through the game. I'm pleased with how it turned out on release. There's a bit of ground to cover, so to summarize now, I'd give the game about an 8/10 with potential to go higher with hotfixes or major updates.

At the time of writing, I hadn't experienced any major bugs up until I was near the end, or at the end of the game where it would crash. Game had smooth sailing up to that point and it hurt the experience just a bit.

Disclaimer: I played on Normal difficulty from start to finish.
I had a lot of fun with how the game played in the end. It's simple fun, but not mindless, and it has times where it can get frustrating. Powering through the tough moments felt pretty good and sometimes rewarding, apart from some enemies not giving any XP at all. Manipulating your own weight to handle areas and situations differently didn't get old for me. Finally, the bosses were both enjoyable and memorable battles.

The art within the game is very colorful, from the sprite work to the backdrops. And it's got a solid balance where nothing looks too saturated, desaturated, or out of place. The music has some catchy tunes to it too, especially as you progress into the later levels. There were no particular sounds or tracks that I was ever annoyed with.

I'm not one to rate stories or how well written one is for games, but it is simple to follow and there are objectives made clear to the player and Munch.

For what it's worth, it's a very solid game made by a small, hardworking team. I surprised myself finding that I put in 10 hours for 1 run on a $15 game. And I'd be willing to play it over again on a harder difficulty, too.

It's alright to casually play. Don't let the grind get to you! I've hit Masters a few times using decks that don't have a single Legendary.
