This is what I call a story-rich game. It doesn't have 2-3 endings, it has over 50 different endings based on your choices. Even a seemingly insignificant choice can have a massive impact on the whole story. It's amazing how they managed to let you play against yourself in certain situations.

Amazing story, soundtrack and breathtaking graphics.

Complete disappointment. I mean seriously, what were they working on the whole time? Shrinking the map, making the biomes ugly and reducing quality in general? Also the story has major plot holes though it gives some closure but there is not that feeling like the original game. I can't recommend this successor.

Play the original Subnautica.

An amazing prequel that explains the sequence of events before the first game, especially the relationship between Chloe and Rachel. The first part will be much more emotional. All time favourite anthology.

Rich and truly sad story. I recommend this game for it leaves something behind in your soul.

It's a bit of a walking simulator but it's a great experience with an amazing soundtrack.

Death Stranding offers a new, interesting genre. Story is set in not too distant post-apocalyptic future. As a courier, your goal is to deliver vital packages between bunkers scattered around the USA. You are challenged with harsh environment and Beached things – souls of the deceased that are seeking peace, which BB – bridge baby – an actual baby in an mobile incubator pinned on your chest connected to your scanner – warns you about with its senses. You still need to be careful as you can’t see BT’s while moving. The story in general is vaguely narrated and told retrospectively, so as you play through the game you have more questions than answers.

The game introduces very interesting mechanics, such as timefall rain, which speeds up vehicle and package container deterioration and damages it over time, grip and slip mechanics and “strand” multiplayer, where you and other players indirectly help each other by imprinting support structures or contributing to build roads to other players worlds.
One of a big negative is frustrating vehicle control and the fact that in post-apo world off-road vehicles doesn’t exist. The other is hard time getting 5-star rating from preppers, as you need to deliver packages to hardly accessible areas.

Death stranding brings new different game mechanics, but in the end it is just a walking simulator with an interesting story and feeling that you are doing something important.

80%.

Jedi: Fallen order is a great adventure game with partial soulsborne game mechanics such as checkpoint save and strong minibosses. The story begins almost 2 decades after Clone Wars, where you are playing as a young boy working as a scrap collector on a spaceship graveyard.
The game has an amazing graphics and in overall is well optimized except from occasional stutters when transitioning to a new area. Together with epic Star Wars music, cute robotic companion accompanying you throughout the game and epic lightsaber combos, an amazing gaming experience is guaranteed. Entertainment is also secured through various miniboss fights and sweeping of stormtroopers. It would be even more fun to have more stormtroopers since their killing is easy and satisfying. It is fun to explore the surroundings and look for collectibles which enables you to learn more about the Star Wars universe, history and characters.
The only major thing I dislike is that you learn certain abilities later in game and if you wish to collect bonuses and other collectibles, you must revisit every single location again in order to access areas that were inaccessible before due to lack of said abilities.
In general, JFO proves that a linear “close-world” single player game is fun and there is no need to push toward open world games with multiplayer.

This game is pure rubbish, “open world” with vast unused land. The base game can be finished in 20 hours from which 15 hours is just running ridiculously long distances through an empty environment from point A to point B. Fast travel is badly designed and saves you maximum of a minute or two. The game mechanics are annoying and sometimes frustrating (e.g. punishment for running in the town, very fast stamina drain or the fact that you'll never use 90% of your loot).
The whole concept and story are fine, but the execution is very poor.

On the other hand, the DLC’s are great. Rich environment, great follow-up and funny stories. Self-contained areas suit this game much better than wannabe open world.

Worth getting in a few years when it’ll be around 5€.

My rating is 30%.

Unique, beautifully made, story driven narrative game where you experience harsh reality young girl from noble family must endure while losing everything but her brother. A plague, rats consuming decomposing bodies and ubiquitous moral decline of society teaches young lady tough lesson as the story continues. An innocent girl must do things to survive, losing her innocence meanwhile, and you are there to undergo this survival experience with her.

Gameplay is fun - adventurous style, historical collectibles with description, quite limited crafting and achievable achievements.

This game has no initial introduction to the story at all, feels like a movie that you started watching from the middle. This also applies to the Followers of Ares and Artemis daughters. Who are those people? You’ll find out after 60 hours into the game. Another illogical thing is why me, as a Spartan, can fight for Spartans after weakening Spartans by… killing fellow Spartans. Same works for the Athenians, whom I help and support, but then I get a quest to kill a whole bunch of them. AC games were always about killing “common enemy”, not killing my own.

GAMEPLAY
- From the gameplay perspective, the assassinations are not assassinations, you can easily assassinate only weak soldiers (if you have assassin’s gear), but the rest you have to fight or wait until the end-game, when you gain enough super-abilities and armor that gives you extra assassin damage.
- The Adrestia (ship) is boring in general, but I understand it needed to be introduced as Greece consists of hundreds of islands.
- The fighting is fine, but the armor combinations and weapons sets are not fit for AC games. They tried to be more like an RPG, but it was not necessary at all and should have stayed at the original concept. Also, repetitive crappy combos for spears and rods rendered those weapons unusable, since when you use the overpower combos, the enemies just go away, and you don’t hit anything.
- Another frustrating thing is the horse. When you call a horse and try to approach him, he basically runs away from you.
- Another thing is that many game mechanics are missing from the AC Origins, which is better not only on the gameplay side, but also from a historical and architecture aspect, when the game also educate you on this. Origins also made a lot of work on this but didn’t take a time to let you explain/enjoy it. Origins connects you to the game more than Odyssey.

VERDICT
Odyssey’s gameplay prolongs only because the map is huge and you must travel long distances, not because the gameplay is fun.

In the end, the story is good and the DLC uplifts the whole game experience as you wander into the realms of the Greek gods.

My rating is 60%, buy only on huge sale.
