No idea why I enjoy this game, but I guess I do... It's a kind of mindless zen-like entertainment, listening to podcasts and stuff at the same time.
If you're thinking about buying this, find some videos and look at them first - it's really not for everyone. I'm playing on Linux with an ultra-widescreen without issues apart from lag when dealing with the biggest ships.

It's fun for a few hours (time and time again)...

• Episode 1-2: Veronica Mars: The Game... Main characters, game mechanics.. I've got this. Uhmm... Or not.
  
• Episode 3-4: More of... No, no, nooo. Nononononono. That's my heart, when you pull it out like that it leaves a painful void, could you put it back where you took it please. Also: stuff's weird and I got something in my eye.
  
• Episode 5: Curiouser and curiouser. Who knew that reading texts is a good way to check your reality? I'll never look at a butterfly the same again.

Late teenage angst and drama plus detective story, Veronica Mars style meets ... uhmm ... something.

This is a game you will appreciate if you enjoy using your imagination to 'be' inside stories and having your emotional strings pulled. If you want action, action, action and don't know or want to think about sentimentality and regrets, you'd probably be happier playing something else. To give an idea of the pacing, the game at times gives you the opportunity to stay in bed, or just have a seat and ponder things for a while.

If you're seriously considering getting this game - stop reading about it and buy it already. You don't want to read a good description of the story before you play it and it's not that expensive.

Each episode took me approx 3 hours and I didn't rush through. My recommendation would be to reserve enough time to play through each single episode uninterrupted. Also at least from Ep 2 onwards I'd say it's a good idea to have time for reflection (a night or several) between episodes.

All in all, 9/10 in score from me. 1 point deducted due to graphics and animations.
