This is not a bad game, but I do not recommend it because of the trends that it is following in the current game industry.

First, it's a fun game. I like to play PvE games with my friends, and the mix with PvP is also nice. Killing dinosaurs is cool and I like it because it reminds me of other zombie PvE games.

But, it egregiously asks money from you. You are shown that you can unlock other characters and goodies by paying extra, or else you have to grind for tens of hours to unlock it. This is something that I would accept from free to play games, but I already paid full priced for the game, and it's unacceptable. Then, they also have the nerve to add a battle pass system on top of that.

There is also no cross progression or crossplay with your friends, even though they make you sign up for a Capcom ID. You can crossplay and matchmake with other random players, but that's not as important as playing with my friends. What's the point? Why make me sign up for a separate ID system if you can't let me play with my friends through that system, and more importantly why should I have to throw away my progress when I switch to another platform?

I only play this game because my friends play it. It's hard to find another fun game to play together after Overwatch. It is clear that this is a cash grab from Capcom, and it's sad that it was built on a solid game. An always online game that is hosted on the developer's servers is always a bad idea, and it's sad that games like this will die in the future when developers eventually cut support for it because of a small player base.

Do I enjoy it? Yeah. Does it make me a pro? Lol no, not at all. I've been playing with this controller for a while now and it's definitely fun to use, but it doesn't make me better at all. Keyboard and mouse will forever trump it in competetive games. I gotta say though in a casual setting, I prefer this controller over an Xbox or PS4 controller because it can mimic the keyboard and mouse feel, and it offers substantially more customization in terms of button configurations.

tl;dr: it's a lot of fun to play and mess around with, but keyboard + mouse is better for precision gaming.
