The first time I had played the game I had heard only positive things. As a result of this, I had high expectations for the game. Saying as I have over 100 hours on this game you can definatly tell this game hit the standards I was aiming for. Overall the game was a good time and I would recommend it for anyone who just wants to have a good time with a sonic game. All of the stages are enjoyable and are a little bit too easy for the skill level some people are at with sonic games. But for the general audiance there is a fair mix of hard and easy keeping the game nice and fun. Crisis city did make me a little mad at times but besides that the game was really fun and never got on my nerves. Planet wisp was a whole other thing but that made me so mad I dont feel like even explaining the pain I went to to get through that entire thing. Once you beat the game you can mod the game if you have it for pc. Luckily, I got the game for PC so I can mod it. A great thing about sonic generations is that the modding community is still very alive after the many years that this game has been ported to PC. Now I don't play on PC but even then I could still play the game at a smooth framerate. I don't even have a gaming laptop. I use a working laptop. So even with a laptop meant for working this game ran really well. makes me miss the times when sonic games did not become demanding when it comes to graphics. Overall the experience for this game is a solid 9/10 while there is some rough edges, like the story and other things. It is still a good time and is worth the money. I may be a little biased on that mainly because I got the game during a 5 dollar sale sooooooooooo yeah. Anyways, get the game if you get the chance as it is worth picking up. I managed to convince my father into letting me get the game so that is saying something. Just wait for the sales to come in and then snatch the game.
