I bought Space Engineers back in June 2014 and in that time I have put in almost 2,000 hours. What can I say, it is a great game! Space Engineers is one of those games on par with Minecraft but with its own quirks.

At its core, Space Engineers is a Sandbox experience based in the cold expanse of space. You have the choice between playing the virtually limitless Creative Mode or the extremely fun Survival Mode. I like to think of Space Engineers as a "Platform". You can use it to build crazy weapons. You can use it to build a society on a server, or you could even use it to produce your own little films and machinimas.

As with all games, Space Engineers has had its problems. The developers have acted admirably and have continued to update and support this game for 5 years and they will continue to do so. With the game now in full release we will see new elements being added that were not originally planned.

I look forward to where the developers take this game. Here's to another 5 years of gameplay!
