I'm literally 5 trains into the 2nd campaign map and they're already stuck waiting for each other.

There's an oncoming train on the other track (which is "signaled" to make it a one way) that's literally by the next stop.
The 4 trains waiting at one station for some reason doesn't have a free track despite having a clear path literally to the next station.

The funny part is that the signaling is so intelligent in this game that as the oncoming train is pulling into the station, the waiting train literally pulls in front of it causing the oncoming train to stop.

Seriously. How does a train game not have a signaling system?

The developers have said that this is a "corporation" game, but that grinds to a halt right quick when you consider that the corporation dies when there's no railroad to move things.

Signals in general have been an issue since February 2019 (probably earlier, but that's the earliest thread I can quickly find in the discussions) and the developers have been busy developing new paid DLC rather than fixing current issues.

Someone tell the developers of Factorio to make a train game. They seem to be the only people that know how signals work. I've never had a stuck or crashed train in that game assuming I signal an intersection correctly and allow sufficient space.

I'm not one to refund games very often (read: at all) but this is definitely one I would if I could still.

Now with more paid DLC, microtransactions, and broken promises.

Even though it's still Alpha, it's better than Prison Tycoon.
