I never expected myself to review this kind of game on Steam, but here we are, and honestly I'm pleasantly surprised.

Since I have more of a positive review than the negative one, I'll write the negative one first.

The game is made (i believe) by RPG maker, it will suffer a performance degradation over a long period of play time, and it's not exclusive to this game. Which also impact on how good you'll be able to do your mini game since some mini game requires precision and the slow down would definitely impact it, for example, fishing game. So if you are experiencing this, just save the game and restart the game.

The story and context of the game is fine... i guess... but for some people it might be unacceptable.

The resolution is low and there's no video configuration, but I guess the pixel art works... it just when it is enlarged, some graphics just got blurry even if the element looks pixel art, perhaps not having enough pixels.

Have no other Steam features, even overlay (maybe they have, but it doesn't work for me, perhaps too low res? Valve pls fix), at least it has Cloud Save, and trading cards.

If you are searching for mindless "lewd" game, this is not it, unfortunately you need to use your brain for the game to manage a number of heroines and has some resource management.

But if you like that kind of game, this might be worth trying.

Now, the good part.

The game is basically an eroge, especially if you apply the patch from the official website, just beware, if you also purchase/have the DLC, you have to download the DLC version of the patch since the original patch won't even install.

The art style and graphics of this game is quite interesting for these kind of games, this game uses an anime style pixel art, including the big character graphic and some "CG" when special encounters/event happening, while the environment presented as a semi-isometric pixel art.

The control is simple and conveniently favor "one-handed control" player, it does support keyboard for navigating some menu but you only need one hand and one mouse, with a working scroll wheel that can be clicked since the control uses Left Click, Right Click, Scroll, and Middle Click. It is really simple and quite intuitive, just don't play for too long or you hand start to hurt. Don't ask why I know.

Moving to the mechanics or system in the game, the game have several interesting one. Since this is an eroge, you'll expect it to have some "action", and that action, is tied to the progression system, which you'll have to unlock to have more intense action or movement, and it's not only "action" that can be unlocked, there's a perk to help you with side/mini game/task. Yes, there's a side/mini game, that is also tied to a heroine progression, so not only there's a main system progression, there's also a heroine progression that is progressed through interacting with the heroine, including doing those side/mini game, which also progressed the "story" of the game or the story of your relationship with that heroine. From fishing mini game (yes), math mini game (yes, use your brain), and I guess chore mini game (washing dishes), to additional mini games that can be found throughout the game.

The in-game day separated by several "time slices" where you have limited action during that slices before forced to go into the next time slices, where several character might do something different or at different location, speaking of location, there's also several locations you can choose during these time slices to meet other heroine or do those fishing mini game and other mini games or task.

Speaking of heroine, there's three main heroine and several side heroine, for a total of, allegedly, five heroines, I say allegedly since I only met one side heroine, which funnily enough, the heroine I completed the progression and the game with. My beloved, Kagami-san~

All in all... I was not expecting I enjoying the game and invested in the story or rather, the heroine. I guess there's a reason why the sequel is overwhelmingly positive.

It's Half-Life, the revolutionary and legendary FPS game from the 1998, I have a record of 3 hours of game play, that's because I played the pirated version before, sorry Valve.

How long to beat completionist time is misleading, almost played 2 times as long and still haven't completed the game, it is fun though.

Early Access Review
For Military Simulator enthusiasts, this is a game for you.

Although the fact that the game still in Early Access may turn some people off and if you just like everyone who doesn't have friends, it's a hard decision, since currently you only play with Private Server or P2P with your friends.

But the game itself has potential, it's a really hardcore Military Simulator, no HP HUD, no Hit Mark, you have to play strategically, it has built-in Voice Chat for both 3D Positional (Speak) and Radio Style.

The customization part is superb, and you can customize your favourite (if it's there. since it's Early Access, your fav weapon maybe not included yet) to your heart's content, from sight, laser, torch/flashlight or 2nd sight, although there are no Grenade Launcher or Attached Shotgun thingy (I'm sorry weapon nerds) is in the vicinity as of now.

The Character Customization is no different, you can customize your gear and outfit to however you wanted based on your playstyle, you decide how many Primary mags or Secondary mags you bring into the field.

But then again. If you have no friends or don't know if there's some community near your location so you can join some server with reasonable latency, maybe it's a no go.

But damn, using suppressed M4 with Laser and Flashlight attached and both can be turned on at the same time (independently) give me excitement like when I was a kid playing Black on PS2 for the first time again.

Early Access Review
TL;DR

One of the best if not the best Rogue Like, Dungeon Crawler, Action game out there. Engaging gameplay, challenging difficulty, replayability, good graphic, intense music, and quite rich story.

Full review:

A Rogue Like, Dungeon Crawler, Action and RPG-ish game that packed with action, content and things to do other than slaying the enemies.

The gameplay is really solid, the combat is fast-paced and action packed with different ability(boons blessings) and weapons to unlock as the game progresses. Unlocking the weapons will not make you stronger, but it gives you a different way to play, and in addition, to complete some challenges and collectibles.

Combined with Trinket and Blessings will make every attempt a different feeling and play style.

The Boons Blessing mechanic in particular, is really interesting, it is randomized so it will keeps the game fresh and dynamic each time you play but also changes how you play at that instant.

There's also a variety of enemies, mid-bosses and bosses that could keep you occupied and entertained or maybe even stop you when you caught off guard.

The story is interesting and rich, if you love Greek Mythology, this is the game for you, although you are not playing as the Greek Gods, but nevertheless, it's entertaining and fun, also they have some "Bastion" like narrator that sometimes tell and explains you the small backstory.

The story generally progresses through each run attempt, through the Encounter Dialogues.

TL;DR - I liked it

Long read

The story isn't too heavy and a little bit dark or negative, (idk what the word), but it is interesting.
The art is fine, but somehow feels distracting to me and especially the transition. Probably can be blamed to myself as I played the prologue at 1AM in the morning when I should be sleeping.
The music is good, not great but good.

What I like the most is the mechanic of the space dive, it's simple but somehow feels important, especially for the story.

Also, you could pet a Cat!

Additional note, as Indonesian, I like it to see some reference here and there packed in to the game.

The end of the masterpiece series, a lot is going on, moments, character, actions.

With the same if not better ingredients and formula than the previous one, especially from the original Modern Warfare.

The second installment of Modern Warfare trilogy, the masterpiece series.

With the same ingredient as the original Modern Warfare, the developer nailed it, with the story and the action.

For short, the game is brilliant.

Long version.

The graphic, obviously, really eye-catching, what the developer have done here is interesting, using the Pixel Art Style and combine it with the most iconic element in 3D games, Lights, and with lights there is a Shadow, Reflection, and it really make something gorgeous, the people, the building, and the atmosphere there feels have more depth and back story.

The control, simple yet intuitive, and the setup at the start of the game tells us what mechanic we have to expect for upcoming investigation.

The plot, the story or the plot of the game, especially the prologue, really give the twist at the end of the game play there, from what seemingly just a normal day for a detective to find the root of the Marriage problem, has turn into far more bigger to handle.

And for the conversation dialogue, I like the fact that the conversation doesn't feel so linear, I don't know if it's the feature, but for me, at least, it feels there's a branching and personal choices on Dialogue Choices., like you can be an a s s h o l e to just get the intel or be a f u c k i n chill guy and listen all of the other's chit - chat and problems. I hope to see more of this in the full version.

And the puzzle, it wasn't so mind-blowingly-complex or anything, but just plain, simple and brilliant, I don't know if it's because I've played a few Puzzle board game that contains hidden message, pattern, etc. or anything, but for me, I was able to figure the way out to solve the puzzle after seeing some pattern key clue hidden in a plain sight.

Overall, I really like this game, can't wait for the full version.
