I enjoyed the DLC, and I liked fighting most bosses, there are a handful where I felt like they were just super frustrating, and not really fun to fight. I don't know what to think about the new system, my friends who are in New Game get demolished pretty quickly, whereas I had a strength character for my first play-through that didn't New Game plus yet, and it felt totally fine to me, I explored and got the new blessings before fighting a lot of the major bosses. There were some issues regarding frame rate during the DLC however, especially during the final boss, which nuked my FPS during the second phase of it (also one of the bosses I didn't really enjoy). I do recommend the DLC though, a lot of the good bosses are not a part of the "main" story-line of the DLC, and I recommend exploring the new area, and trying to find those fragments before tackling the main story-line path. I hope that the FPS issues will be fixed in the future, as they are annoying to deal with.

This is my first time writing a lengthy review like this, so bear with me.

I highly recommend this game, I played it fully through using my friends steam library and family sharing it, but I decided to purchase it to support the developers who made this game, seeing as this is their first one. The story is fun to get into, the characters are written very well and are all very unique, the art style and animation is great. Doing math while making potions, and trying to manage the time is fun as it is stressful to try to get the perfect days and the perfect brews for the potions you are making.

However, I do have some gripes with the game that was touched on in other reviews. Firstly, I deeply wish there was a sandbox mode after the main story ends, primarily to max out all the characters and try to see all their stories through, as well as just chill out without worrying about the time constraint given but I understand that is a lot of more content to ask for as they would have to add more interactions with customers, and most likely the characters afterwards, I wouldn't mind if they released it as a DLC, as I think the $25 for this game currently is worth it, and I have faith that the developers will do a bang out job if they do release a DLC with this game, they have laid a solid foundation for it already. However, I will try to do another play through and try to optimize it where I can hit all the characters to max relationship status, while beating the story again as well.

Secondly, I wish there was a way to construct multiple decks instead of the one we just get, as I would like to try different builds, but I would have to remember every card I added to the previous deck before switching, would just be a nice QOL update that would make the game better in my opinion. Thirdly, I wish you didn't have to take cauldrons and shelves as well as aging barrels with you in your inventory to upgrade them, as it is quite annoying to do so while trying to efficiently use your time when a potion can be brewing in them while you're gone, it wouldn't really change much about the game, especially when the time constraint is already pretty unforgiving if you're not playing with a lot of efficiency, and I think it'll benefit more players than harm them.

Lastly, from the top of my head I do think that custom orders should be looked at, especially in week 3 and after, I was not able to complete a lot of them because they all wanted certain good traits on them, but a lot of the ingredients I had counteracted these traits and replaced them with bad traits, even if you have some ingredients with good traits, it seems like that bad traits usually overcome those and just apply the bad traits, making the orders nearly impossible to complete, perhaps with Roxxanes enchantments it is more doable, but at that point it's not worth doing so in my opinion, as you can most likely sell the potions yourself and make more than if you were to fill out your custom order. Thankfully the traits don't matter to max out a character though, that's a good decision.

However, even with all of these "Cons" I do think the rest of the game is genuinely great, and you should definitely try it out.

TLDR: I highly recommend this game, with it's unique art style and animations, charming characters, fun story to get into, strategizing what deck will be best to try to haggle with your customers, and trying to create that perfect potion for those competitions, and trying to get some money into your coffers. Definitely worth the $25, and I am keeping an eye on this studio for future releases and see what they can come up with!

Good game, really fun with friends, it's kind of like TTT from Gmod. If you like those type of games, you'll most likely have fun with this one too.

This game is a worthy addition to the previous 2 games, I recommend for fans of the series to pick up this game if they've been on the edge on getting it
