This was excellent when it very first came out but soon the developers listened to the wrong people and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the balance, so I took a break for a little while.
Came back to find the game utterly dead. Its so dead that I just queued for a pvp match and 8 (out of 10) of us were bots.

This is excellent for what it is. Combat is a bit like a Tales Of game; background art is beautiful; some of the animations are a little weak but plenty others look fantastic. Story is interesting and the pacing is good so far.

Back in the day when Bioware was a decent company we had this absolutely amazing game called Neverwinter Nights. As someone who has been playing pen and paper RPGs such as D&D, gurps, pathfinder, wfrp and such for over half of their life; Neverwinter Nights was almost like a videogame version of those amazing traditional RPGs I still play to this day. It was (still is) a massive game; and I spent thousands of hours over the course of years playing through user-made content; the official content, and my own works I had created. I even DM'd a short campaign entirely within NWN with my little brother and an old friend.

Neverwinter Nights 2 was also pretty great but I never sunk in the amount of time I had with the first game because my life was going through rapid changes when that had come out; but I played ALOT of it and love it nonetheless.

Divinity Original Sin 2 takes me right back to those days of really playing a character in a living breathing world. After so much time, I finally feel right back at home in my old tabletop roleplay days with this absolutely amazing game. You have almost complete and utter freedom in everything you do.

This is an enormous game full of depth and complexity and the developers clearly made a great effort to make sure you could play through it as a very wide variety of different builds, characters, emotions, depths and have a unique experience. This game makes you think and reason much more than most games do; mortaring in each brick carefully as you steady along your path. Its an amazing experience I have not had since many years ago when I used to be enthralled with Neverwinter Nights.

This is certainly a powerful contender in the realm of computer RPGs and with the tools Larian has given the community; we have a game even more massive and complex than NWN. I am very thankful that we still have developers who will take the massive amount of work this undergoing requires to create a game like this.

If you've ever played a tabletop roleplay in your life; or hell any sort of serious roleplay; play this game.

This is a total piece of s'hit right now. The optimization is non-existent and it takes WAY too long to find a pvp match. Supposedly there's 5600 people playing but I have to wait in excess of 6+ minutes for a 15v15, so that either means the matchmaking is f'ucked, or 90% of the playerbase only does pve. Either way, this is garbage at the moment. Maybe it will be decent in the future.

Its just a s'hitty version of tiger knight and will be dead within the year.

Total garbage. The first Insurgency is way better and this isn't even Insurgency anymore. Dumbed down maps and dumbed down gameplay bring this piece of trash much closer in line with Call of Duty - including the ability to call in gunships so the a.i. can play the game for you.

Pretty awful, even the dismemberment doesn't look good and likes to get buggy; as do a lot of other things. This is a big step backwards for this company.

And its not realistic. You are either dead on the ground or perfectly fine; doesn't matter how or where you got shot because you are just a hitbox with a number assigned to it. Its still hitscan so there's no ballistics involved; just point and click on objects for hits because you know, 5.56 from an m16a4 arrives on target at 300 yards instantly.

This is just closer to Call of Duty or even Countershit than any realistic fps.

Awful. Go play ARmA instead. Million times better. This is just a dumbed-down Hollywood action-movie version with horrible ai.

Mechanically deep with presentable visuals. I've played through all of the release by this developer and they never disapoint.
