You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots broke the game with a garbage update. Resolution won't change anymore, no multiplayer server works.

This should not be for sale on steam. This copy of the game is broken. Resolution settings won't do anything and the multiplayer is greyed out and services have been long shut-down. Multiplayer doesn't work period. GameRanger, Hamachi, Tunngle. Nothing gets the multiplayer working again. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste of money.

First of all, this piece of s'hit makes Wildstar look well optimized. This is seriously utterly embarassing.

This is the exact same trash as Chivalry, so I'm going to stick my review of that cyst here too

Plays like a poor man's version of Mount & Blade. M&B's multiplayer does everything this game does but much better (including having 200 people in a server whilst this allows for a max of 32), except for the limb removal. The poor optimization and insanely bad netcode are also big issues (because of Unreal Engine 3).
Everything about the gameplay feels disjointed, like playing a mod of an FPS that never intended to have melee combat in the first place (that may well be how this game started).
Again, Mount and Blade Warband's multiplayer is what this wanted to be but actually good.

I'm so glad this game is an utter failure and not selling at all. These piece of s'hit devs don't deserve a single customer. You worthless f'ags should have learned from your mistakes in Chiv supporting the exploitation of your garbage engine because you were far too lazy to fix issues. Here's your prize. You get nothing. You had 22 people playing before you released this desperate free weekend. All you are doing is opening the doors to let more people see how much of a failure this product is.

Legit some of the worst optimization I have ever witnessed in 25 years of playing games.

The S.O.B can now be toggled on or off via the menu. Starting off with that because that particular enemy being on by default is a big flaw. He would work perfectly if he were a toggable option on a menu. Limiting a player's ability to explore in a ROGUELIKE is just a bad decision, and the fact that there are a bunch of guides specifically for how to cheese this NPC should be evidence enough.

That aside, this is an absolutely amazing game. I am a sucker for procedural generation, especially when the faces and hair and everything on npcs is random as well. The combat is pretty damn fun, and its rare to see a 3d roguelike that's actually good.

I'm still early and this is already some of the most fun I've had in the game. The new tinkerer stuff is amazing.

This was a fantastic game but unfortunately it was designed to be played multiplayer and that functionality no longer works. Steam overlay, direct connect, lan, ip ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, none of it functions.

Was good back in the day. Unplayable now.

Played them all (including the original OFP and Codemaster's horrible spinoffs) and I still say this is the best one. It may not be the prettiest but I absolutely love the feel and the depth.

I have way more than my hours played because the game can be launched without steam (I'm probably sitting at 800+ hours).

Of course every negative review on steam is from someone who hasn't even played the game for an hour, lol. This isn't some casual-fest for children.

A lot of fun. Basically cops and robbers left 4 dead. You can shoot up civilians in malls and nighclubs too.
