This is one of the coolest games I have ever played. I can't believe I didn't know about this sooner.

11/16/2015 - Wrath of Mevius is awesome, as expected.

2019 - The devs still can't make their minds up on what the ♥♥♥♥ they want to do; so every few months the entire game is torn apart and stuck upside down. Currently its a slow, boring grindy sh'itfest where suddenly level 150 characters are level 100 and the scaling has been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to hell and back again. Maybe in 2020 it will be a kart racer. Steer clear; whatever potential this game had has been lost in time.

late 2019 - game has been totally reworked and plays fantastically. looks like they finally made their minds up

Pretty embarassing entry into the Tales series. I can see why this is considered one of the worst games in the series, and I don't even give a ♥♥♥♥ about the whole Alisha/Rose fiasco (both of them are one-dimensional overused archtypes anyway). Starting with the abysmal camera that can't help but get stuck riding up a mob's ass during a fight so you can't see anything, this game's combat system is also complete trash.

The equipment fusion is an exercise in spreadshit simulation if you want anything decent out of it; every single dungeon in the game is big square rooms connected by big square corridors; the monster designs are embarassing (a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ squid and a skunk, really? Almost everything is recoloured mobs not even halfway into the game?)

I'm kind of surprised I even got past the unstandable early stages of the game; just insanely slow and boring.

Huge gaping plotholes (this guy who was killing seraph villagers and shown eating people works for an assassin's guild. Well guess what? Leader of said assassin's guild joins your party later and yet the protagonist doesn't say a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ word about him or ask her why she let something like that in her guild in the first place).

This is such a step back for the series; such a dissapointment. Its nice that its on steam but we really need the good entries in the series (Abyss and Vesperia for example).

Garbage failed Mount and Blade clone. Anyone supporting this piece of s'hit needs to kill themselves.

Plays like a poor man's version of Mount & Blade. M&B's multiplayer does everything this game does but much better (including having 200 people in a server whilst this allows for a max of 32), except for the limb removal. The poor optimization and insanely bad netcode are also big issues (because of Unreal Engine 3). The biggest fault that I find however is that it doesn't feel like a team-game despite being presented as one. Fighting alongside allies is usually a detriment due to the friendly fire. None of the mechanics of the game encourage players to fight in cohesion or even really work as a team. Everything about the gameplay feels disjointed, like playing a mod of an FPS that never intended to have melee combat in the first place (that may well be how this game started). Also found it funny when I went to customize my knight and noticed 80% of the options are paid DLC as if this were some f2p game; now that's kind of ♥♥♥♥ed up.

Very meh, pretty misleading. Presents itself as a team tactical roguelike but instead you just use one mech at a time. Also rounding a corner to have 3 of your bots one-shot. No thanks.

Worst gear treadmill I've ever witnessed in a game. Devs don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about pvp, removed pvp gear, made PVE gear the best gear in the game to have for pvp. Grind all day for months on end to recieve minor upgrades to your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gear. Woefully low population and dropping everyday, impossible to find raids for weeklies or queue for dungeons because no one plays the game anymore. Unplayable at level cap.

Update 4/11/2016: Game is still a dead piece of ♥♥♥♥. Devs still don't do anything. Population is still extremely low. Classes are still insanely imbalanced. Game is still garbage.

Extremely good diablo-clone. Great modding community, plenty of depth, tons of content.
