This game is a nice concept that floated upon the original Dead Island. Have multiplayer and kills zombies. Easy enough and a simplistic view, right? Wrong. This game studio decided to 1 up the original game by making a pvp multiplayer. Bad decision. So in addition to having a pvp system, they also included an ingame store where you can buy weapons and new characters in microtransactions. So when you combine pvp and micro-transactions you get a horrible Pay2Win game. Not only that, but you get paired in pvp games based on your "strength". I got paired with people with incredibly overpowered weapons and stupid characters. I was literally helpless and instantly uninstalled this game once I saw this. The graphics are cartoony which takes the serious tone of being stranded on a chain of islands against zombie hoards, mutated zombies, and gun toting looters to: 1.) Aim with cursor 2.) Left click to fire/hit zombies 3.)Profit.

All in all, this game trys really hard to be different with PvE and PvP, but by the end of the day, you're paying money to play a game that isn't really worth it in the end and in my opinion, it's a lot like Team Fortress 2 but not FPS. GG

The game looks nice from the trailers but for some reason my comp will not optimize this properly, leading to frame drops tantamount to freezing the game entirely. The graphics (the ones that I can actually see in motion) look nice for a pre-alpha, but there is still much more work to be done. Buy it when it comes out as a beta.
