I was on the fence about buying this game based on some of the negative reviews I read. I'm glad I took a chance on it because the game play is addictive. I'm a big fan of Gloomhaven, but that game takes a serious time commitment (over an hour any time you want to play). Knights in Tight Spaces is like Gloomhaven light. The game play is fast, the mechanics are simple, and you can squeeze a few rounds into fifteen minutes. If you like these kinds of strategy/card battlers, this is one you should definitely pick up.

Early Access Review
Phenomenal extraction shooter. As I write this Witchcirr is still in early access, but it's already my favorite game of the year. It gets everything right: FPS dynamics, character building, death penalties, atmosphere, weapon upgrades, etc. Everything good you've heard about this game is true. Anything bad you've heard is lies and propaganda. Great game.

Love Void Bastards. Love this. Different games with a lot of similarities - but this one is friendlier and has greater depth.

Fantastic game. Everything you like in a shooter plus everything you want from a story-driven campaign. I'm late to the party with this one, but glad I didn't miss the boat entirely.

Early Access Review
Really enjoy the PVE/PVP aspect of this dungeon crawler. It reminds me a bit of Dark Messiah from way back in the day. One thing that is a bit annoying about early release tho - it seems like every other update they break the game. Had a great time with this game in pre-release, and early release. Then, one day after an update was pushed it started crashing. Not just once, but multiple times. This really sucks in a game where you lose your equipment if you fail to exit the level.

I lost several equipment builds to crashes and quit playing until the next update came out. I gave the game another try and, once again, everything was awesome for a while. But today, another update came out - and you guessed it - bam!!! I crashed.

So - taking another break until the next update and hoping for the best. It really is a fun game - when it works.

It took a couple hours for this one to grab me, but once it did it was a lot of fun. At first it felt like a X-Com clone, but once I got into training, financing, and managing mercenary groups I saw the appeal. You have to be a good strategist, planner, and resource manager to get anywhere in this game - and that's a loft of fun.

The voice acting was fantastic. The game - spawn in a room, be rushed by a swarm of identical low-rez vampires. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Not for me.

I've played the tabletop and this. This is way more immersive and fun.

Fantastic game. A blend between XCOM, a CCG, and an interactive movie. Top notch.

If any of you old school RPG players remember 1st edition Dungeons and Dragons, you will recall that it was a clunky, awkward, and disjointed game that managed to have an irresistable level of charm in spite of its many flaws. From that imperfect seed of a game grew an industry of Fantasy RPGs that moved from paper to computers and still thrives today.
E.Y.E. is a lot like that. The menu system is a bit clunky, the plotline is hazy, and skills can be difficult to use (try mapping them to the middle mouse ala Crysis), but the heart of this game is solid gold. If you can invest twenty minutes in to tweaking the interface to your liking you will be rewarded with a truly rich gaming experience. The possible combinations of equipment/abilities paired with the futuristic 'ShadowRun-esque' setting make this non-stop adventure a sleeper hit for 2011.
